Received a warm welcome when we arrived at Reception. Were given precise details about our room and the facilities available. Lovely room with plenty of space and excelent bathroom. Comfortable bed complete with extra bedding. Ordered our evening meal at the bar which we had in the dining room. Staff service excellent for our meal. Highly recommended for a leisure and quiet stay in a beauitful location with wonderful views of Loch Linnhe surrounded by Mountains The Television located on the wall was rather high for comfort. Never the less I managed to watch the football.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. The views were amazing and there was a very tranquil feeling around the place. The evening meals were a bit expensive for what you got.

Very friendly staff. Nice comfortable rooms. Good food. Dinner menu a little expensive for the type of meals. Corran ferry trip far too expensive. Maybe the hotel could do a deal with the ferry company for a daily pass?

It was sooo welcoming after a long drive, and a terrible panic at penrith when we broke down!! Its a traditional inn and hotel in a beautiful location, and the litl ferry ride is a bonus. Our evening meal was luvly, and breakfast most satisfying. Argour was a stopoff on our way to applecross in wester ross, but we ave already decided we will be back, and stay longer next time!! Worth every penny!! Thankyou so much!! Sheila binks xx

Interesting ferry ride straight to the hotel door. Nice warm and comfortable room with everything you could want. We were on the first floor, so the views over the water and watching the ferry come and go were great. Most welcoming and helpful staff. Good evening meal and excellent breakfast.

We having just returned from an 18 day tourand the Inn at Ardgour was the 7th place we stayed, it was the most comfortable and the staff, service and food of a good standard. We also stayed for 2 nights a year ago and it has improved since then, We will definately be back.

The hotel staff were friendly and obliging. Rooms were excellent, big with comfortable beds. Though the Inn was located across from the ferry terminal this was no problem and was offset by the scenic view. Good food.

This hotel has a fantastic setting with friendly, helpful staff and is clean and tidy. Bottles of water, tea/coffee facilities and biscuits in the bedrooms are a nice touch. All rooms have a view of the loch. Whilst the menu was interesting the execution was mid range, relying too much on a deep fat fryer. Poached eggs for breakfast were "not possible because he doesn't do them"! Also, the walls of the bedrooms are paper thin - you can hear everything through them, including snoring. The ferry could prove costly if you stay more than a couple of nights and limits your desire to go out in the evening. The ferry also makes a noise but this did not prove too intrusive. In summary, not at all bad, but could be much better for the sake of a few things.

It's a good location for discovering Loch Linnhe, Fort Willaim and Ben Nevis (if it is not in the clouds). The road to Fort William and Mallaig is on the western shore of Loch Linnhe. It's a single way very quiet with some herons. The inn is excellent and we appreciate dinner and breakfast. G.L.

We chose the Inn at Ardgour because its location was very convenient for the purpose of our visit and the hotel had received good reviews from previous visitors. Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night. The room we were allocated was very good - clean, comfortable twin beds, with an excellent en-suite shower room provided with a range of useful personal accessories. The breakfast menu contained a wide choice, the service was efficient and friendly and the food was beautifully cooked. We would have no hesitation in staying there again and would unreservedly recommend the hotel to our friends.

“The room was quite spacious and lovely with a fantastic view of Loch Linnhe. The staff were incredibly professional, knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I don't think I've been as impressed with guest service before--and I worked in the hotel industry in the U.S. for more than 10 years. I highly recommend the Creag Mhor Lodge” Melissa, Portland, Oregon |
