Received a warm welcome when we arrived at Reception. Were given precise details about our room and the facilities available. Lovely room with plenty of space and excelent bathroom. Comfortable bed complete with extra bedding. Ordered our evening meal at the bar which we had in the dining room. Staff service excellent for our meal. Highly recommended for a leisure and quiet stay in a beauitful location with wonderful views of Loch Linnhe surrounded by Mountains The Television located on the wall was rather high for comfort. Never the less I managed to watch the football.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. The views were amazing and there was a very tranquil feeling around the place. The evening meals were a bit expensive for what you got.

It is a very nice family-run hotel in a superb location on Loch Linnhe. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well equipt, and there was a superb view up the Loch towards Fort William. The food was very good and reasonably priced and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I will certainly visit again.

The room was clean nd comfortable. If you want a good nights sleep you certainly won't get it here. The ferry starts at 6am and every half hour the ferry alarm system sounds for 30 seconds. It sounds like a very loud fire alarm. We were very disappointed with the service at breakfast. We sat for 25 mins before being attended to. When the waitress finally arrived she was not pleasant at all. Asked for two poached eggs and she rold us that it would depend on the chef and shrugged her shoulders and walked away. We were never asked if everything was in order and although we could have done with extra toast as she only brought four half slices. She was no where to be found. We were told by the customers at the next table who experienced the same problems that they were told that the waitress did not like gettung up in a morning. When we went to pay the bill we had to wait again for this waitress. We had to wait so long we missed the ferry crossing and had ro wait half an hour for the next ferry. Once again this was as a result of this unpleasant waitress.

The location is superb. The rooms were were very comfortable. Views of the Loch. Excellent bar, restaurant with local produce on the menu. The best Salmon I had all trip. Great whiskey selection with large measures:) Very relaxing with local wildlife wandering the streets. I booked this hotel from Australia due to the photos on the website and my expectations were exceeded.

Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Good value and plentiful breakfasts. No bath in room only shower. Not keen on food in restaurant - not great for price, frozen chips, slightly too expensive very average pub grub.

Having read a number of opinions from visitors and viewed many pictures of this hotel, my friend and I were certain that it would not hold up to the amazing reviews - but we were wrong! It certainly did and surpassed all expectations. The location (surrounded by lochs and mountains), the staff (welcoming, friendly and approachable), the hotel (clean, comforable and warm), and the glorious weather, were all just perfect. We spent many a wonderful hour watching the Corran Ferry coming and going, strolling on the small beach front and visiting the wonderful local historical places of interest before settling down to eat the wonderful food in the hotel. We came away relaxed and happy and vowing to return. Don't miss this great wee Scottish gem! What was there not to like????? It was just PERFECT!

Location and views were great The food was off a very poor standard! Ordered a Rib Eye Steak - medium rare - what I received was not a Rib Eye steak but somethiong like a small sirloin badly cremated. Tinned mushrooms and too many grilled tomatoes added to my dislike! My complaint was not taken seriously and no apology was made. On this basis alone I would not return to this hotel. Other than that the decor is dated and there was a general smell of dampness.

Our main criteria having 3 young kids was suitable accommodation. The Inn fills that criteria well, their family room comprises a double for the adults, complete with adjoining room for up-to 3 kids (one single / one bunk bed). Breakfast is good and the staff are very pleasant. Re the ferry, consider buying a book of 30 tickets, this will save you a fiver per crossing!

It's a good location for discovering Loch Linnhe, Fort Willaim and Ben Nevis (if it is not in the clouds). The road to Fort William and Mallaig is on the western shore of Loch Linnhe. It's a single way very quiet with some herons. The inn is excellent and we appreciate dinner and breakfast. G.L.

“The room was quite spacious and lovely with a fantastic view of Loch Linnhe. The staff were incredibly professional, knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I don't think I've been as impressed with guest service before--and I worked in the hotel industry in the U.S. for more than 10 years. I highly recommend the Creag Mhor Lodge” Melissa, Portland, Oregon |
