Good location for an over night stop en route. Helpful friendly staff in all areas. Rather noisy at night from an event in the function room. A lot of grubby marks on bedroom walls (spilt coffee down wall, toothpaste and soap marks in bathroom)and general air of tattiness, despite refurbishment. The restaurant food was a bit disappointing - trying too hard to be fancy. Would have preferred plainer, better cooked food.

It was warm and friendy . The room was small but perfectly adequate. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. We stayed on our way back to the airport so we could not linger too long over this lovely brekkie. We would stay there again. A bit of early morning road noise but nothing to get upset about.

Nicely refurbished in a modern, uncluttered style with new bathrooms and furnishings. A good breakfast the next morning. Room was quiet despite facing the road. Staff on bar were unsure about late return (after 11pm) when we arrived so we were not sure whether we would be able to get back in again when we left for our event. Take a torch if you are returning late as it is very dark around the back of the hotel where the back door is.

That we were not told at the time of booking that the Bar and Restaurants facilities were shutting at 6.00 pm on Sunday evening. We were encouraged to eat before 6.00 pm and asked to go up to our room once we were finished, so the hotel staff could lay out the Christmas decorations. Although we were told that the bar would be open for us if we needed a drink, once up steps the doors to the bar were then locked, so we could not gain access to the bar for more drinks. No very freindly

Good breakfast. Good menu although we did not actually eat there because we were invited out to eat. The staff were very pleasant and I was suprised that the bar prices were not expensive, as I have normally found in Hotels.

We had business in Taunton and the location was convenient to the motorway for us. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. When we stayed there were a lot of flies in the restaurant and room which was our main complaint, we asked for fly spray at the bar to be told that they were not allowed to use it, consequently I got bitten quite badly at night,

Good location. Good tea & coffee supplies in room. Wifi Internet very poor & didn't work most of time. Shampoo etc in bathroom was not replaced when used. Seemed to be a plague of flies in the dining room however we noticed this at other locations in Wellington as well.

We were using Beambridge Inn as a break to our journey to Exeter. We were very impressed with the hotel, our room was very good, we enjoyed the bar food and the breakfast was superb. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. We will certainly consider staying there again if we were going to/coming from Cornwall/Devon. (There may be a group of us going away Feb/March to which I would certainly recommend). The only thing we didnt like about it (and it wasnt too big an issue) was the extractor fan in the ensuite was quite noisy if you needed to use the loo in the middle of the night. However, in the morning I discovered that if you put the shaving light on it stopped the extractor fan kicking in.

“The owners were most accommodating and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was extremely comfortable with little extra touches added such as L'octaine bathroom products, several choices of tea, coffee & luxury biscuits in the room and lovely feather pillows & duvet on a very comfortable kingside bed. The evening meal if required is freshly cooked to order from a regularly changed menu using all local products and expertly cooked. Will definitely stay again when in the area.” Michele, Wantage |
