the atmoshere of pub wasgood, food was excellent, draught beer kept well,rooms very clean. Railway running near by,air conditioning running outside of window all night unable to get good night sleep. breakfast from 7-30 am to late for business guests |

Attentive staff. Asked for quiet room but was put on railway side of hotel.Bedroom lighting odd- lights over beds but switch by door.Insufficient wall plugs for laptop ,tv,kettle etc |

Friendly & helpful staff. Perfect location for a stop over on way to Exeter. Easy to find. Room was comfortable & everything that was needed was provided. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Close to railway line, but trains did not run through the night and so after initial shock of the noise, it did not spoil our stay. |

This hotel was in a good position for us to break our journey from Penzance to Bedford. The beds were very comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. There was rather a poor choice at breakfast for the person in our party who did not want a cooked breakfast. She would have liked some fresh fruit and yoghurt. This may have been because there were only 2 rooms occupied on the night we stayed. |

Very nice,clean modern and spacious room, good breakfast and evening meals, very good service from all the staff, good free car park. Biscuits on the tea and coffee tray in the room was a really nice touch. A radio alarm in the room would have been usefull |

Staff were friendly The fact that train maintenance work was being carried on the tracks right behind the Inn and did not get any sleep due to the noise and bright lights - no staff on hand to talk to about this at 11pm. Inn was closed up and all staff gone to their private quarters. |

This was our second visit and on both occasions we have been very impressed with the standard of the hotel and the excellent service we received. Breakfast was superb. All in all excellent value for money. |

low cost and comfortable well equipped room noise from nearby mainline railway was a big problem, the windows were not double glazed so the noise and disturbance was substantial.The food in the restaurant was adequate, but the tables were very sticky |

Easy to find - close to the M5. We needed an early start on Saturday morning and breakfast was provided for us 30 minutes earlier than the stated time. The bedroom was comfortable. |

Room was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good - cooked breakfast and selection of cereal. The plumbing seemed to be noisy - everytime anyone flushed a toilet or used the water, the pipe made a lot of noise, but this may have just been in our room - otherwise no complaints |

The rooms were very stylish and comfortable. Great for a couple nights stay. The hotel has some issues with pipework. You can hear everytime someone in another room turns on a tap or flushes the toilet. Could do with some soundproofing. |
