The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the breakfast waitress was fabulous and couldn't have been more polite and helful.
When I checked in the hotel car park was full. So I parked across the road and went into the bar to check in. I asked the young lady where I could park my car overnight, she told me the car park was full and they operated a first come first served basis. I said I accepted that but I still needed to park my car, hoping she would advise where there was a public car park close by, to which she replied that it wasn't her problem. I find that she was abrupt and extremely rude!
spacious rooms, nicely decorated, lovely hospitality tray including fresh mineral water, great use of local ingredients for breakfast. we stayed as we were attending a wedding near by, to be fair we didn't spend much time here but what time we did spend here we enjoyed.
Excellent friendly staff, very kind and attentive. Night entry. Location. Cost. Decor, boutique feel to rooms. Super tasty breakfast.
No guaranteed parking and it's a tight spot in the covered yard. Wifi not available and not explained in in-room documentation. Late breakfast start at weekends. Common areas not quite as chic as rooms. Shower room a bit dated.
The headline says it all. It is (as implied by its name) just by the station, but I didn't hear any trains.
Staff very helpful Attractive bedrooms Efficient and good quality breakfast Very good price Recommend eating at Emporium Restaurant in Clitheroe
Hallways and corridor in need of redecorating but Edinburgh room was newly and tastefully decorated.

location, friendly, helpful staff, spacious room, facilities, comfort, delicious breakfast.
Bar area was lovely, food very nice.
Rooms a little dated, stains on chair. Parking very limited.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent location adjacent to bus and rail interchange as I was travelling by public transport. Superb breakfast included in the price of the room.
There was nothing that I personally did not like but some people may possibly find the breakfast times of 07:30 to 08:30 a bit limited.
Easy to find, a good welcome, plenty of space, clean and comfortable. The location means you can stroll through the town with ease. Good place to stay.
Car park a bit tight - but no problem
Very pleasant and helpfull staff, comfortable, interesting rooms, fab breakfasts.
Extention of breakfast time at weekends would go down well.

Location, bedrooms, food, staff, parking.
Brealfast service a little early for a holiday.
We missed breakfast as we were at a wedding in a nearby hotel so slept in... On checkout we were offered bacon sandwiches despite being several hours after breakfast was served. Great customer service!
Great location, helpful staff, very relaxed stay, will definitely book again this year.
Location, relaxed atmosphere, good selecion of bars and restaurants.
Service, Friendliness, Location and excellent breakfast - particularly liked the Lancashire menu representation. The room was comfortable. A very good experience!!
Was a bit disappointed that the bar closed early on Monday night (9ish). Rain too bad to go out again so I watched the storm and went to bed early. However the room was comfortable which made the bar closure more bearable!
Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Clean comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
The welcome from the staff and their readiness to help; all the facilities as named on the website were to hand; including a generous breakfast!. . An excellent venue, situated in a pretty historic town, for an overnight stay or longer.
Large comfortable bedroom with spacious seating area. Efficient, friendly staff. Good food. Central location. Free parking.
Everything was to our satisfaction, as expected or better.
Friendly welcoming staff, good facilities, evening meal excellent quality in friendly pub setting. Breakfast deserves a special mention - first class! Definitely stay again.
The waitress at breakfast was very friendly.
I had expected it to reflect its railway history, but it could have been anywhere. It was a very hot night so it would have helped if the window had been open much earlier. It was very noisy as there is a wine bar with a roof garden across the road so probably better to stay when . it's cooler.
Bedroom was huge and very comfortable
