On the seafront, overlooking Bournemouth Bay, this modern and uniquely styled hotel features a 1930s Art Deco style, a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a day spa, and a lido deck.

On the seafront, overlooking Bournemouth Bay, this 3-star hotel on East Cliff is an easy walk from beaches, award-winning gardens, and the center of town.
Score from 1183 reviews Good
Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel was the first hotel in Bournemouth. It features 3 hotel restaurants, a health spa and lovely sea views.
Score from 1761 reviews Good
Just half a mile from Bournemouth Pier, Ramada Encore offers hearty breakfasts, a 24-hour front desk and free internet access. The Pavilion Theater is just a 10 minute walk away.
Score from 406 reviews Very good
Friendly staff.Good size room.Great breakfast. Interesting decor makes a change from the normal corporate style/chain hotels.
Very small bathroom. Door banged into sink whenever it was opened.Hand held shower only. Accept that there is little to be done as space available is limited but not very impressed considering the cost of the room!
Very good location fantastic views friendly staff nice place to be
View from window ( brick wall) I liked the flock wall paper but my partner didn't!!!!!
The beds were very comfortable and we got a single bed and a double bed, even though I only paid for a double. The room was large and plenty of space for luggage. The bathroom was on the small side but adequate and clean. The decor was nice and different to standard hotels.
The bed was extremely comfortabe. The bar staff were absolutely top notch, couldn't praise them enough. Very friendly atmosphere. Lovely decour. Great location. Good value for money. Freeview in rooms was a nice touch. Sea view was perfect. Parking was ample.
Wifi was not available in room and reception/connection was very poor even in recomended areas. Breakfast was served too early, nothing available even half hour before supposed time they stopped serving which was dissapointing considering it was an extra we opted for.
Even after the music had stopped there was still lots of noise! We were rung the night before to say that this would happen till midnight! Had we of had more notice than one night we could have had time to book somewhere else!
The food was excellent nice and fresh and plenty of options at breakfast. The room was a decent size but the view was of the staff entrance, storage cupboard and the side wall of the sister hotel. The town centre is about a 10minute walk away and the beach you need a car to get to as it is down a rather steep cliff so would be very difficult to climb back up. I would recommend going here for a nice meal but if you planning a peaceful break I would choose another hotel
Despite there being "NO SMOKING " signs at the staff entrance this did not stop them being out there from 6.15am -1am smoking chatting and talking rather loud on their mobile phones 1 evening at 11.30pm we ask how much later they would be there to be told they will be finished in an hour which they did but on entering the hotel they slammed the door so hard on more than 1 occasion the whole building shoock. These issues were pointed out to the receptionist on check out who said a manger would contact us to date there has been no contact what so ever.
Food was excellent, service was good, room was comfortable, location excellent as only a ten min walk to town.
Plastic chair in our room, and the noise from the wedding party on the ground floor on sat night.
Good food. Excellent breakfast choices. Very pleasant sea view bedroom. Polite friendly staff.
The lift was the only negative aspect. Although quaint and authentic, not user-friendly.
No lift access to breakfast. Not good for disabled. Lift is from a 1930 horror movie.
pretty and close to the sea clean the beds were comfortable quiet
expensive breakfast wifi very poor could not reach in our room had to change rooms since we had a child with us meaning that we were not next to our friends even though the cot would have fitted fine and the rooms next door were empty the shampoo and soap were clearly re-used from other room
Informal, lovely staff and location
Breakfast was just ok. Lovely hot plates but food wasn't hot
We had a good view of the sea from our bedroom window.
We choose this hotel because of its location as we went to see the air show. On arrival we were total a function was going on that day and we had to wear a wrist band. What they didn't say was we had to wear it all weekend so we could get served at the bar. We then discovered that we could not use any of the chairs and tables outside as these had all been sold to non residents so they could watch the air show! We found the restaurant very poor and over priced and there were cobwebs all a long one of the bathroom walls. For a place that says it has recently been reburished I did not expect a large chip in the bath and a shower that went from hot to cold serval times during a shower every time you used it.
The decor was lovely and bright, easy walking distance to beach and town, staff were friendly and welcoming ,plenty of free parking .
I chose Sunday roast for my evening meal, but was disappointed with what was presented,a large Yorkshire pudding with soggy potatoes inside and chicken slice on the top,not good ! No proper shower !
Bed and pillows. The view
Poor bedroom lighting, and the small bath.
Great value for money. We were allocated a room with a balcony (shared with room next door, but nobody appeared!), which overlooked the sea, so it was perfect. Very nice staff; polite, friendly and helpful. Good food in the restaurant. Good breakfast.
The room was tight, with a very narrow space around the bed to get to the balcony. Probably a bit annoying if you stayed more than a couple of nights, but for one or two nights is was fine.
Friendly helpful staff.Very clean.
The first room I was given was noisy with the window open from the restaurant extractor fan.I was moved to a quieter room without too much fuss.
That all the facilities were not available to guests staying at the hotel because the emphasis was on the Daily Air Show packages that the hotel were hosting
The view of the sea from the bedroom was stunning! Really beautiful to wake up to and calming to go to sleep to. I also liked the decor. Completely unique but strangely it works.
I didn't like the food. Overdone steak. Tasteless fish and tiny portions! Main course was so poor I didn't even take my chances with desert!
Being able to use the pool at the sister hotel next door and the majority of the staff at reception and bar.
Complained about a dreadful meal and all two different members of staff could say was 'Oh' and walk off.
Staff friendly and location good.decor in main areas is excellent
Shabby bedroom which was cramped.creaky floorboards!
Sea view, set back from main road. Nice dining and breakfast rooms. Bedroom clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, and tried hard to please. Generally good standards throughout, breakfast food and staff excellent. Avoid weekends, mid week is better
The hotel had weddings on Saturday and Sunday, therefore it was very noisy, difficult to get to sleep. The bedroom was very warm at night, but had to close the windows to keep out the loud music. This also compacted on the parking, had to park on road.
Staff were lovely, and so was the view. Food also was nice
The room was tiny, everything squeaked. I certainly didn't like the previous occupants used tissues down the back of the bed, or their sweets under it. Bathroom door was broken and paint was blistered and peeling inside the window. No sockets to charge things, and dressing table was taken up with TV and tea/coffee making facilities, so no room for anything else. Overpriced. I wouldn't stay here again. :(
location all staff exceptional from cleaners to reception food great decor good
original room next to lift noisy spoke to reception petra went out of her way to offer us another room no problem ,creaking floorboard we are more concerned about the guests below ,still excellent will return, staff training really shows through.well done quantrem hotels.
Everything about this gorgeous little hotel was superb! From the service , rooms, view and location ! We will return and thank you x
Lovely location 10-15 mins walk into Bournemouth centre. Terrace from the bar was a bonus especially as the weather was fantastic whilst we stayed. Dinner was excellent - we opted to have it in the tabled are in bar area as nicer than the dining room.
The dining room - had net curtains around it and no outlook - we opted to use the seated area in the Bar (but not for breakfast). Breakfast was self-service which was great except the tea and coffee which was served by the waitress and at busy times we had to wait - would be easier to give each table their own at the beginning.
