Pleasant staff, Good rooms, cosy little bar area, Excellent food. The only thing wrong was the weather. We couldn't fault it really. No lift to rooms but easy alternative access. |

Friendly staff, lovely location, nice decor Late start of breakfast at 8 am made it impossible to use that facility which made the reasonable value more expensive as we only booked it for the convenience of the location with breakfast included. |

The staff were excellent and very informative about where to cycle in the area, we had some problems which staff dealt with quickly (the thermostat needed adjusting on the wall for the room to heat up - they gave us a discount ) The restaurant was super and service very friendly and efficient. Excellent value for money even before the discount. |

The staff were very friendly. The room was clean & functional and, with breakfast included, excellent value. My evening meal was the best steak and ale pie I have ever tasted. A personal tip - short crust pastry rather than puff! |

Location was lovely, staff excellent, food very good and service very good. There were a few flies around, perhaps machines could be fitted around the place to attract and kill them. |

Visit spoilt. See below The whole Hotel was plagued by flies which spoilt our stay Would not stay again until this problem solved. A sticky fly paper covered in dead flies is not a nice thing to find in your bedroom when you arrive |

Friendly people. The local drinkers made us welcome. the food was excellent the beds were very very low and we had the misfortune of being in the area when there were loads of flies (which the hotel could do nothing about as they were everywhere) |
