“We really enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the owners and staff. The attention to detail makes you feel very special and the food is fantastic. Amazing value for money. We will definitely return.”

This unspoiled 16th-century coaching inn overlooks the rolling countryside and offers a warm welcome and good food in a relaxed, traditional setting between Oxford and Cheltenham. The Inn for All Seasons has been in the Sharp family for over 20 years and is now managed by Heather and her husband Matthew, a classically trained chef. Matthew creates menus that feature seasonal local produce. The Inn also specializes in fresh fish and shellfish, all delivered daily, direct from Devon and Cornwall. The rooms with private bathrooms and the four-poster room are all different, and have nice views. Inn for All Seasons is 3 miles west of Burford - the gateway to the Cotswolds. Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Chipping Norton are all within a 20-minute drive. Nearby National Trust properties include Sherborne Estate & Lodge Park, and Chedworth Roman Villa. Hotel Rooms: 10

Friendly staff, good breakfast. The rooms were tired and outdated with paint flaking off the walls. In serious need of modernisation.

Friendly and accommodating staff and the food was excellent. I chose the Lemon Sole, which was recommended to me by the owner's young daughter, good choice! It was cooked to perfection, and delicious with parsley butter, everything was of the highest standard. I will definitely come again. I liked the fact that it's a doggie friendly place, next time I shall bring my two dogs along! Thank you again for a wonderful meal.

'We had a fantastic time', we needed some time out relaxing, good food and wine and that's exactly what we got. The Inn is ideally located for exploring the area - even by bike. The host Matthew was exceptional and obviously completely right for front of house. The Staff were polite, helpful and very friendly whether evening or breakfast staff. Great atmosphere, lovely room and great food and drink what more could you want.

The food was splendid. We had stopped for lunch when passing the area about 18 months ago and liked the look of the evening menu. We stayed 2 nights and were not dissapointed in either evening meal or the 2 breakfasts. The Inn is very well placed to visit any of the Cotswold attractions although we decided to go a little further afield and visit Bletchly Park. Altogether a very pleasant visit.

Wethoroughly enjoyed our short stay, and found the staff very efficient, friendly and entertaining. Our main complaint was that our bathroom needed some attention, especially to the shower which we found difficult to operate safely.

A friendly and relaxed atmosphere, very pleasant location with spacious rooms and fantastic food. If you are not keen on dogs this may not be the place for you as the owners 3 dogs wander around all areas of the hotel.

This was an overnight stay on route to the funeral of a member of my family. My room was comfortable, and was complete with regards to facilities. The inn/hotel had a good and friendly atmosphere, and I was able to get to my intended destination the next day with comfort and ease.

We were made very welcome. The food was of a very good standard though trencherman portions were served. Good wine list.parking convenient for guests. Too many dead flies caught around window frames and plague of ladybirds in en suite facility. Shower needed up dating. Room smelt of dogs.

I can't say enough about this wonderful inn. It is exactly the way you expect a country inn to look, from it's exterior of old brick and stone with ivy climbing up the walls, to the interior that is warm and welcoming, with the owner's dogs roaming about. We stayed in a beautiful (extremely spacious room with a four-poster bed), it was absolutely charming. The hotel staff are amazing, everyone from the bar staff to the housekeeper (she even made a "picnic" for my daughter's stuffed animals). We were there four days, but when we left, I gave hugs to most of the staff, because they honestly make you feel like you're family. I loved everything, but one thing was a little awkward, there is a handheld shower sprayer, but the tub doesn't have a shower curtain, so in order not to make the floor wet, you have to sit in the tub to shower, which I found a little difficult.

Large attractive room Good food at both breakfast and dinner Plenty of parking Location for walking and touring Cotswolds Less expensive than the competition in Burford Bed a bit uncomfortable. Bath slightly grubby on arrival and toiletries not fully replaced after use. A bit run-down eg outside light not working so fumbling in dark to unlock outer door at 11pm!
