The staff were all very friendly. The bedding was very clean and good quality. The breakfast was lovely, good food and good choice. The bar and restaurant were both a great place to sit and relax.
The bedroom could have been a little cleaner, dusty in places and the bathroom needed some tlc. Also only towels for one when there was three of us. The noise from the bar was very loud in our room. Once the bar closed it was very peaceful!
Loved the room and bar
Nothing all good
Friendly staff and comfortable room very homely
Wifi was abit bad, kept cutting off but nothing other than that
Staff brilliant, rooms spacious & very clean, food great (cooked breakfast a must) & extremely comfortable beds.
Loved everything. Nothing wrong at all.
The location was perfect for our requirements. Easy check in, rooms nice, free parking & continental breakfast. The staff were nice. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. Nice busy atmosphere.
The room was a little cold. We could here a dull noise from downstairs, but with ear plugs it wasn't noticeable. There are no twin rooms.
Restaurant beautiful. Spacious room sizes.
We had a broken radiator in the room that couldn't be fixed. Room was boiling and we needed the window open all night on a busy road it wasn't ideal
Loved Pandy , bar man , very funny !!
Room was comfortable and staff helpful as much as they could. Food was nice, though a number of dishes weren't actually available
No wifi for me as the process for obtaining a pass code just doesn't work for international travellers
Location, modern decor, friendly staff
Mattress too soft for my liking
Comfy bed, friendly staff.
Dusty skirting boards in bedroom.
Restaurant A+Bar+Staff A+ Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Shower was GREAT. Bedroom size was much larger than we were expecting. The entire hotel exudes style and even more important Comfort. Great Job!
Nothing.... Place is FANTASTIC!
Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant bar and good restaurant.
Creaky floorboards in bedroom no. 2 !!
Contemporary styling, good size room.Friendly and helpful staff.
Bed too firm. Bathroom was in desperate need of some TLC. Toilet literally rocked. With exception of bracket, Towel rail was missing. Cracked floor tiles, black mouldy sealant around bath. Shower / bath tap almost seized, would be impossible for elderly person to turn. 1/2 days work and £50 in materials would have sorted all of these issues.
Great room, great restaurant, brilliant staff. Good location. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.
The warm welcome from the staff started the stay well ; the comfortable clean room and the continental breakfast were of a high standard. This hotel provided us with a comfortable night and a good breakfast and all for a reasonable price.
Quality of the hotel
Noise from the bar in the room
Modern décor and liked that it was above a really nice gastro type of pub. Breakfast was quick and yummy.
Room was cold, heating was set to highest possible - didn't even turn on
Room too close to a busy road, hence we were kept awke all night.
Very clean and modern.
Service with a smile, good well presented food, helpful and friendly staff. Good location for shopping, retail parks close by, very regular trains into Manchester.
good coffee, friendly staff, clean room, nice decoration, comfortable, great food, nice welcome, nice bathroom
Wi-Fi needed a UK mobile number but I live in Ireland and so have an Irish mobile number and could not use the wi-fi
Easy check in and nice atmosphere of hotel and bar area
Was kept awake from 3am onwards with drunken loud shrieks and screaming from room next door.totally ruined our stay.we ended up leaving at 4am as there was no peace to be had
Great staff, good food, nice country location. Went back for a visit for old times sake as we loved the place before we left the UK in 2005.
I was disappointed that the pub no longer had that old world atmosphere and the décor was very plain. Also there was no four poster bed anymore. However, if one is a new comer to the place they would not know any difference.
Flying out from Manchester airport was really close to it
Access to rooms were through the public bar
Bathroom requires hooks. Shelf in shower and shower door handle replaced
