The room was really nicely decorated, very clean with a lovely modern bathroom. It was very spacious and had lovely views. Food was also excellent. Drinks were slightly expensive but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

There was a draft in our bathroom which caused the bathroom door to creak all night. The room would benefit from a full length mirror. Besides this the hotel was excellent

Young and ambitious staff and very good food. I think they will make this a very nice place if given more time.

No remote for the tv in the room. This coudn't be solved during our stay. The breakfast that was included in the room was not so good.

Staff and layout of bars and restaurants.continental breakcaxt was excellent and good choice. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Lack of response to request to repair faulty toilet (rm 9). Radiator in shower room also did not work.

This was an amazing bargain. The rooms were comfortable and staff helpful. The bar area and dining were excellent. We arrived off a 24 hr flight and had low expectations of the hotel as it was so cheap. However it was a great start to our holiday and we still can't quite believe it was such good accomodation for such a small price

The only issue was too few tea bags! But the staff soon sorted that minor detail.

Nice pub/restaurant. Good continental breakfast. Value for money. Spacious room.

Noisy due to being by a main road & no double-glazing so woken about 6am (although I am a light sleeper so may not bother other people).

Very convenient for Manchester Airport but much more character and ambience than any typical airport hotel. Generally youthful staff, capable, welcoming and courteous without exception. Surprisingly impressive restaurant food for the price bracket. Would definitely stay again.

Roaring Log fires and friendly service. Great Sunday Lunch and breakfast was just right.10 minutes into Alderley Edge.

Good location. Good friendly atmosphere and attentive and efficient staff

Restaurant was ok for dinner.

Noise. Lack of phone in room. Poor breakfast choice included in room rate. This is a large pub / bar frequented by local people. The restaurant is buzzy and noisy. These facilities are directly beneath the rooms. There is little by way of siund-proofing. You can hear a chair scrape across the Floor. Mangaement also allowed singing to 1 am..

Nice location - spacious rooms - friendly staff - Pub offers good and wide variety of food. Good value for money!! Instead of staying close to Manchester Airport, try this one (not too far away from the Airport). This will definitely be my place to stay going forward.

Minor element of criticism: it would be nice to have some more light over the mirror in the bathroom.

I would never book another room where they are directly over the pub, too much noise, even after the pub closed at midnight.

It was mostly clean (shower was quite mouldy) and staff where great. Downside was noise traveled from room to room making it difficult to have privacy and quite time. I like the place as it's a lovely building.

excellent resurant and service

The bar and restaurant staff were all excellent, helpful and friendly. The food was very good with a reasonable amount of choice both at dinner and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good with lots of hot water. It was also easy to find and had lots of parking space. Nice decor, and a pleasant view from the windows at the front.

Apart from the tissue box being left empty for us in our bathroom, everything was fine.

Spacious room and a really good in-house restaurant, which saved us the need for another walk into Alderly Edge.

A bit further out from Alderly Edge than we thought, but not a major dislike. It is still within walking distance if you like walking.

The room key was supposed to unlock the outside door after hours, but didn't as we headed out to load the car at 6:30AM!!!...sooooo, my husband was locked out... We were told that we would be able to get something to eat before we left for the airport, but the dining room door was locked...
