Comfortable traditional English pub accommodation.
The name - it's known as the Five Bells not the Innkeepers lodge so we went past it a few times.
The helpfull and friendly staff. The food was excellent Plenty of parking spaces
Very friendly staff.nice and clean and welcoming. Breakfast looked lovely although we overlaid so didnt get to sit and enjoy it! We are coming back so looking forward to an early rise with breakfast next time!
Nothing to not like
The room was clean and dressed well. The location was ideal for our needs.
The bed was uncomfortable and the sound proofing was poor. We could hear noise from the bar and bathroom fans from other rooms. The breakfast was a total let down. A continental breakfast should offer cheese, cold meats and hard boiled eggs. All that was offered was toast, cereal and a few yogurts with some fruit. This is not a continental breakfast!
Modern clean room with everything you need and nothing you don't. Quiet rooms, warm and comfortable. Slept really well. Pub downstairs was super cozy.
I like shampoo and soap in a hotel room for convenience. This just had essentially hand soap. The breakfast was decent, but a cooked breakfast would have been nice. WiFi would be good too.
Staff and restaurant was excellent
Bathroom floor got very wet when taking a shower
Very comfy beds Hairdryer in room
Heating was too hot!
Convenience of location and proximity to the 5 Bells for drinks & evening meal. Lovely breakfast. Excellent value complaints
Noisy bathroom fan in room 4 very irritating (!) and no soap in soap dispenser near sink so used one in shower not a problem at all.oreviously stayed in a twin room which was a bit bigger & bathroom had a window 2 unexpected bonuses.
The cost, very clean and great staff, will visit again when next in area,
although attached to a busy pub restaurant, the accommodation was tranquil and comfortable.
We spent New Years at the hotel and the entertainment was very good. Everyone was friendly, drinks reasonably priced and staff very helpful and welcoming. The locals were so much fun. Great room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental but done really well and the pain au chocolate are AMAZING! I wouldn't highly recommend this place.
Lack of wifi Noisy room (from the parking lot & bar)
the staff especialy the very hard working Manager and the lovely lady at breakfast
The prices in the restaurante
Quiet location and nicely decorated. The continental breakfast offered a good selection of items.
One of our rooms had no hot water and we were told to run the tap for more than 10 minutes, that management knew about it but hadn't fixed it. Not only impractical and unhygienic , but still didn't work.
The comfort and peace afforded: staff, especially at breakfast, were pleasant but not chatty.
Nothing much, but a more spacious room and a better stocked tea-tray, including Decaffeinated tea/coffee, would be appreciated.
Staff were really friendly and helpful , rooms cosy and pub nicely decorated , food good standard and reasonably priced
Restaurant was fully booked when we arrived at 5 pm
Building warm and attractive inside.
Sadly food poor severed look warm quality just acceptable. Meet friends on second day food severed at different times , therefore we did not eat together again look warm.
Our stay was comfortable and met our needs . Would recommend this inn to others
Lovely, clean room Very friendly staff Nice pub attached Good food and beer
Toilets in the pub were a bit primitive and limited for such a big establishment. No disinfecting / nice smelling blocks in urinal.
Th Inn was very welcoming and the staff very helpful. We had a meal there and it was lovely.
The room we were in 7 did not have any heat in the bedroom, we had to keep the bathroom door open to warm the bedroom up. My husband went and told a member of staff, he then came to have a look, but did not have a clue, as it was a cold night no back up heater was provided. We hope that this matter will be looked at as the Hotel is lovely and would go back again
Staff very friendly and efficient. Food very good and reasonably priced. Continental buffet style breakfast very well organised with a member of staff on hand all the time.
Friendly and helpful waiting staff in bar and restaurant. Food good.
Over hot bedroom and no cooked breakfast available.
A very good place to stay. Recommend
