7 May 2015
Ran out of soap in both basin and shower.. Had clearly not been filled in the morning
5 May 2015
We stayed in room three, the bed was really uncomfortable, the mattress was smaller than the base of the bed, almost sure the mattress size was a small double 4 ft. The quality of the mattress was not good either, giving both my husband and I back ache when we got up, got to the point where we were glad we were going home, there was also scaffolding outside our window, and the traffic noise was really loud through the night
Like the location of Inn Keeper Lodge, just outside Canterbury, the pub had a lovely restaurant

Beds could be a bit more comfy but for the price of the nights stay I can't really complain.
Very friendly staff. Had a very good evening meal, happy to accomodate children.

The bathroom was starting to look a bit tatty, but was clean.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was good quality yet very reasonably priced. The room had WiFi, a comfortable bed and was quiet after 11pm. a comfortable bed WiFi was available in the room

Not a complaint, but a mat in the shower (Room 9) would have been good to avoid the possibility of slipping.
A relatively small room, but perfectly adequate.

Great British pub atmosphere. Great location close to Eurotunnel and Canterbury. Beautiful old building.
2 January 2015
The first room we had was cold and draughty, including unheated bathroom. Restaurant area also rather cold at this time of year. Very limited "continental" breakfast (which was English breakfast with no fry-up). Some staff poorly trained and impersonal.
Good location, free and ample parking, some staff very sweet and friendly. The second room we had, after complaining, thankfully was comfortable
