Great value for money - loved the fact the kids could go up and down to the room through the internal door, so we could relax with family and they could go and watch TV saftely. Only thing missing was a kids play area, No kids play area and limited evening meal choice when you have already eaten the cavery for lunch.

Free Wifi, clean comfortable room, attached to the Toby Inn so convenient for food & drink. well located for the road and motorway network. Bathroom a little bit tired and shabby, no plug sockets near the bed.

I really liked the staff and their bend over backwards approach to anything we asked. Donald, Susan Pauline were outstanding in their customer service even when under pressure. I would say the attitude of your staff would be 75% of my reason for returning (except the crabby woman cook- who just looked pissed off) Location was excellent. Being in the room straight over/in front of what I think maybe the busiest roundabout in Scotland. Also I have a bit of a problem with the meat portions served in the carvery - I think this could be revised as my husband and 19yr old son needed more and when asked for larger portions and paid for kingsize there was very little difference in size which to be honest was disappointing for us. We had just travelled 400 miles and were starving and veggies don't fill people up protein does. On this note on the second night we had puddings and the ice cream sundaes were designed to leave a hollow middle so what you see is not what you get - again this was disappointing and has made us think of eating elsewhere on our next visit. On this said night there was also only 2 meats left on offer and the portions again did not reflect the price. Food is tasty but let down by measley servings which your cook loudly announced if anyone asks is regulation controlled sizes set out by the company. Spreading the meat over the plate does not disguise the fact that there isn't a lot there.

Near enough to Glasgow to consider staying here instead of the city. Country park location, so well-placed for pleasant walks and watersports events. Room 203 is above the kitchen/restaurant and has big extractor fans outside. The door downstairs makes a constant bang at busy times, but the kitchen closes at a reasonable time so our sleep wasn't disturbed.

The way the staff took time to answer my son's question at breakfast in such a nice manner We arrived later on and had already eaten. We were with other family members and wanted to have a coffee/soft drink and chat. However there was nowhere for us to do this as the children were not allowed in the Carvery after a certain time unless they had a meal, due to Scottish licensing laws. This cut short the time the children spent with their relatives which was not ideal. In terms of the accommodation the room only had 2 bath towels when we had booked for 4 people, although this was rectified when we asked. There were no pillowcases on the pillows for the sofa bed. The main bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin they may as well have been missing.

The room was warm and comfortable and the staff very helpful. I left a piece of electronic equipment and when I rang it had put away and held securely ready for my collection. The food was supplied by an attached carvery, if you didn't fancy that type of food there was little else.

The staff were absolutely wonderful - they could not have been more friendly and helpful. 100% for them, thanks. The rooms were very nice with extremely comfortable beds - very clean and cosy. The carvery was excellent at a great price. That big roundabout I had to get out onto !

Good location, spacious room. Room was draughty as it was next to a fire escape. Also a lot of traffic noise as it was just a few metres from a 3 lane roundabout that led onto the motorway that was busy all day and night.
