|Coddy's Farm Bed and Breakfast is located on a working farm on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Free WiFi access is available. Each room has a flat-screen TV and electric kettle.|
Rooms in main building were OK, spacious, but some of the fittings quite dated and worn. Shower drain did not work.
'Family' room, outside the main building with entrance straight to back of pub was of very poor quality. Generally not clean, also the room smelt of smoke despite a no smoking sign in the room.
A fantastic place to stay, lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food and service, couldn't fault anything
Good room. Except bed cheap, starting to feel springs through mattress. Need replacing very soon.
Continental breakfast only, but at the price cannot complain.
Excellent country pub with a good food menu. Rooms basic but good value for money.

Nice to have cooked breakfast available but appreciate we stayed on Christmas Day night
The pub next door was very nice
We really enjoyed the friendliness of all of the staff. The rooms were clean and comfy. We had an evening meal which was good value for money and tasty. The continental breakfast was more than ample to set us up for the day.
We had two rooms and one of the bathrooms was not as clean as we would have liked, but the overall stay made up for this oversight and we would not let this put us off staying again.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was good and service was fairly quick. Good value for money. Lots of choice for breakfast and it was set out early
Checking in was rather disorganised. The croissants and pastries at breakfast were stale
room good size
the room and staircase required cleaning urgently
staff were very friendly and helpful. room was clean and comfortable. ideal location for visiting my student daughter living in halls
bathroom was tired and dated but clean and shower hot.' toiletries' was a bottle of hair and body cream. disappointing!
Room being separate from main pub/restaurant, quiet. Lots of parking spaces near room.
Quality of room, proximity to The Foxglove and willingness of staff
Roadside sign for the Lodge is poorly lit, and dominated by the one for the Foxglove. Breakfast policy seems inconsistent; cooked breakfast runs until noon but continental stops at 10 - why? There is a sign in the bar with the deadline for the cooked option but not one for the continental. When I checked in it's quite likely I was told of the difference but I honestly didn't take this in and was guided more by the sign. To the credit of the staff, they quickly laid on the continental when we arrived shortly after 10.00 am. I would be surprised if we are the only guests to be caught out by this. More information about the area, including a map, would have been helpful
Great location, great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks sitting by the fireplace, it was a nice touch. As a short family break this is an excellent place to visit.
Continental breakfast was included in the price of our stay, and it was a bit of let down because croissants was very stale
Comfortable rooms, clean, reasonable on price, attached pub very good.
Needs new shower curtain, Pillows a bit hard
Spacious clean room serviced every day, clean towels tea /coffee etc. Quiet location, friendly staff, good selection for breakfast
Beds a little uncomfortable needs new mattresses especially the sofa bed
the room and the bar and the staff
the room was a littal warm or mabey it was the wine
Clean, good facilities, generally comfortable and value for money.
The bed was too soft and, as a result uncomfortable. I suspect it could do with renewing
Warm and cozy with plenty of space to stretch out.
Not many options for vegetarians.
Easy check in, a good choice on the dinner menu and a nice continental breakfast
Lodge rooms became a little noisy in the morning.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Value for money
Shower/shower curtain could be cleaner. Room was too hot in the night, which made it uncomfortable for sleep.
Cleanliness. good food.
Torn bedding noisy banging doors. very poor wifi
Very helpful and friendly staff. A good night's sleep.
We arrived at the place late after a hard cycle ride through the hills of Yorkhire. We were were ready for a shower and some food. Although the restaurant was very busy we were accommodated very quickly. A great place to stay for a visit to this part of Yorkshire.
The continental breakfast fruit basket was poor with a choice of Apple or orange
Very convenient to Storthes Hall residence for dropping off students to uni. Good parking facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quite comfortable. Good value for the price.
Breakfast was poor, stale croissants and very cheap bread. I had to buy indigestion tablets on my way home!
Very good service and good food. One of the best nights sleep I nave had for a long time.
