Large room that was well furnished and well heated; spacious bathroom and an incredibly comfortable bed offered premium comfort at budget prices. I was staying for business but would visit again with my partner. Food was very good too.
There was nothing to dislike about my stay, my food, or my room.
clean and spacious accommodation. excellent value for money. excellent quality pub food. Friendly staff.
Difficult to find without a sat nav as there is no signage from the main roads.
Very friendly staff
Dining room not cleaned from previous evening at breakfast time.just needed a quick vacuum before using the following mornings.
Evening meal was excellent Staff were very pleasant
Un impressive breakfast that didn't resemble the photo
This must rank amongst the most spotlessly clean pub/hotels we have stayed at--and we have stayed at many, here and abroad. All the staff were pleasant above and beyond the call of duty. Would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to others.
Nothing to dislike.
The professionalism and friendliness of the staff, making guests feel welcome and cared for.
There was some noise as the room was above the bar but not really a bother
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. It was cosy maybe a place for residents would be nice as it did get very crowded.
Large, airy room. Very clean. Only used for a night stop, so can't comment on the breakfast or bar facilities. Would stay again and recommend to others.
Traffic noise may affect a light sleeper. Squeaky floor boards.
Lovely building, tasteful decorations and comfortable room.
Poor quality food, incompetent staff.
Made to feel welcome by all the staff. The log fires were a bonus.
Breakfast, although not included, was great :)
We travelled from Glasgow to this hotel as we were flying from Leeds Bradford airport. Handy for the airport and rooms were spacious. The room was good value for money, you pay a little extra for food and drink than normal but this is true with most hotels. Large comfy bed with a decent sized sofa bed for the kids. The area outside is lovely and would be fab in summer. If travelling from Leeds Bradford again I would book a stay here again. Can't comment on the free breakfast as we left at 5 in the morning.
good room great value
bar shut at 11
Room was large Good pressure shower with lots of hot water Took care of providing cot as per our request and it was assembled Staff were helpful and friendly (provided us with milk for our baby's bottle and water for our room even though it was late)
We booked 2 adults & 2 children but only had a room with two single beds and no extra blankets/duvets to rig up a bed for our son. I know if we asked the staff probably would have sorted something but it was after 11 when we arrived and we couldn't hang around getting them to sleep so we ended up all in bed together. I checked our booking afterwards to be sure I specified 4 people and I did.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was characterful and comfortable. After a long drive all we wanted was a meal and then to collapse into bed. We couldn't have asked for more. The attached pub served beautiful food and then the bed was comfortable and room spacious and warm.
The bathroom was clean but a little tired.
Staff helpful and friendly. Good value and very clean.
Room number 12 a bit noisy.
Location couldn't be better, Staff were friendly and very helpful. I sustained a puncture and the staff were very helpful finding me a good garage. I love the decor too.
The Hotel was far too hot, making comfortable sleep difficult
The young staff, do please thank them from me. Ralph Long pl14 3nb
Sorry, not a comfortable bed as advertised Heard every movement of the Guests above me. Miserable Service Station environment. Squeaky floors. No soap in the bath. Sorry, won't be staying in a Travelinn again.
The weekday breakfast staff were very friendly
Having to carry heavy cases up 2 flights of stairs was a nightmare! Having to wait a long time to check in
The general appearance of the inn and the internal layout with the sectioned tables in small groups..
All Ok. No complaints.
Easy access & very good location. Tea making facilities. Room facilities were excellent except the children's bed.
Folding bed in the room was uncomfortable & the breakfast was not good. Wooden floor makes much noise when we walk.
I love the lady who does the breakfasts. She's happy, friendly and attentive.
Your roasts aren't as good as the rest if your menu.
The value for money aspect..good sized rooms, the availability of a twin room, the very friendly & helpful staff, the type of breakfast where you can choose how little or how much you have.
