The Calverley Arms is a charming 150 year old inn located half way between Leeds and Bradford. The staff were friendly and helpful at all levels, and the food was really quite good. A good choice if you are visiting that part of the country, with easy access the the Dales.
The beds were pretty bad, but I understand that delivery of new ones is imminent. In spite of backing onto a country road the noise level was quite surprising, as was the internal level of noise between rooms.
A lovely hotel and setting, which has an excellent restaurant with setting inside and out. Theres a good choice of menu and a well stocked bar !! Mostly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Theres also a great local mini cab service.
Sorry we couldn't fault this hotel, but I would say the maintenance needs to be improved !
Good location for leeds/Bradford airport. Excellent value and will definitely use this again. Clean, easy parking and good staff.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. Lovely breakfast too!
Loved the room, decor and cleanliness. Bathroom was gleaming and good strong shower. Bed really comfy. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Staff were professional and breakfast was lush.
Make sure you get to breakfast in plenty of time if you don't want to be vacuumed around. Think they wanted us gone :-/
A very enjoyable stay at the Innkeepers Lodge. good sized bedroom and bathroom both very clean. Staff friendly and helpful also up for a laugh with residents. this was the first time I have stayed there and will definately stay again when visiting my son at university.
If I was to look for fault the only thing I would say is to get a bigger sign saying Innkeepers Lodge as we followed sat nav instruction and could not find it as the signage says Calverley Arms.
spacious room, well equipped, good facilities, friendly and helpful staff
Innkeeper's Lodge sign was very small and difficult to see. Road signage could have been clearer
Staff were incredibly helpful
We had a taxi booked for the early hours to the airport, unfortunately it did not arrive, through no fault of the hotel staff. There was nobody on night reception to arrange an alternative.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious, food superb. Spare items available free of charge, in case you forget to pack them, i.e. razor, shaving cream/shoe polish etc
Room facing road a bit noisey
good comfy bed very clean very helpful staff
at the price paid nothing
It was perfect I booked for friends who had just got married they said it was lovely. At breakfast they put out the bottle of champagne out I brought and even put Mandy's name on the breakfast menu which she loved thank you
very comfortable good food
not suitable for disabled or the infirm
Staff were lovely, very helpful & friendly especially with our Grandchildren. Good size, clean family room. We enjoyed our evening meal and the children had plenty of choices on their menu - Good selection of food for the buffet breakfast
Just one downside - the carpet in the dining area hadn't been cleaned from the night before and was pretty bad with crumbs etc around the tables
Pleasant grounds and spacious rooms. Meals good value.
Very large family room which was very comfortable. Very helpful staff who were brilliant with our 3 year old son. Great food in the restaurant and brilliant breakfast service - thank you Mandy!!
good location helpful and friendly staff
wifi was slow the toaster for morning breakfast needs to bereplaced
Good location, nice sized room and bathroom with comfortable bed.
Evening meal average.
Food, Bedroom, Location. Outdoor area, Car Parking, Staff, Welcome.
Childrens fold down bed for two was too small and uncomfortable. OK for one, but too small for two kids aged 14 and 12.
Proximity to our grand-daughter in Farsley. Comfortable bar to relax in. Lovely garden. Friendly Yorkshire welcome.
The mattress would have been more comfortable with a topper (but I am quite boney!) (Room 2) We would have liked to be able to open our window wider - we promise we wouldn't have fallen out!
All aspects were good
Disabled Parking. Not too noisy. Good food and selection. Location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Stairs. Creaking floorboards in room 6. Un-eaven floor. Bottom of net curtains dirty, think was due to windows open in hot weather. Difficulty in keeping shower water behind shower curtain and not going on bathroom floor.
Warm prosseco! Rubbish steak
More individual than other chain hotels
Good environment and really helpful staff. All the staff made us feel very welcome.
No air conditioning in the rooms, but to be fair in the UK this is needed about 1 month a year.
Location near airport, clean and nice lodge, pub was very nice with good food, quit zone, nice village to have a walk!
minor dust behind beds and closet
