Cleanliness not great. Water coming through ceiling in my mothers room and the bar. 40 min wait for food from ordering. Dirty cups in room. rubbish under sofa bed. Main bed very uncomfy.
Nice stay Friendly Staff Clean, comfortable Room with a nice view
WIFI would not work on iPhone (5, IOS 7 ), more of an Apple problem/vintage inn problem than that of this hotel's. But orth being aware of if you rely on having internet access though, I also didn't have any mobile coverage
Location was excellent. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly
Superb place to stay-ideal location close to Glasgow, the airport and easy access into the highlands. Lovely staff and a great pub atmosphere. we will definitely be back !
We didnt have time to stay longer.
Good size room and good location
Not enough staff in bar / restaurant - piles of dirty dishes / glasses on tables Had to wait 15 minutes at bar before anyone was available to check us in .
Lovely setting, friendly staff and comfortable room made my 2 day stay really enjoyable. The food on the restaurant was delightful and clearly popular as it was difficult getting a single seat until 8:30. Worth the wait though. The room was clean and had excellent provisions and its decor matched the building beautifully
The shower lacked heat.
location was fantastic, loved the river and boats.. beautiful. And the meal..., we ate downstairs and it was the best food we had had for our entire trip.
Staff very helpfull, good food and good choice, room was a good size.
nice location, big room
The location and the breakfast and the relaxed atmosphere. Excellent
It was quite hard to find as it's not actually named the Innkeepers Lodge It took us 4times driving up and down street and had to ask at tourist information for direction
Friendly staff, good food and a great location
Poor Wi-Fi signal
Excellent WIFI Location Bedroom very clean
Very soft bed Taps falling off wash basin Included breakfast not as good as other Innkeeper lodges
All of it.
Nice location nice bar
Pillows and bed not comfy Building site outside bedroom
Our bicycles were stored securely.
We liked the good sized family room. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had 2 adults and 2 children 13 and 11 and in the room we had 1 double bed and 1 double bed settee. The bed settee was very uncomfortable even though it was obviously new. I'm guessing bed settee mattresses are very thin so they can fold up but a suggestion would be to put another mattress on top or a few quilts to pad it.
The location was fantastic with a view of the loch from our room. We had Sunday lunch which was excellent and the bar had two good ales. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Check in and check out was easy.
Not a real problem, but the room sloped downwards and when entering the bathroom you felt like you were going to overbalance! But we got used to it and in the end it was quite funny.
Welcome and situation
Narrow bed very uncomfortable resulted in poor night`s sleep! We had to leave early so didn`t have opportunity to speak to staff.
Good car park 5 minute walk to train station Security fobs to get to rooms
Well where do I start! On entering hotel, check in was in corner of bar area, staff member in bar went to get someone to check me in ... Waited about 5 mins for this. Checked in a duty manager was very pleasant. Advised that we would be looking to eat in hotel, food served until 9.30m. No lift in hotel if you have a problem with stairs. Came back down and no one about in bar. Board as you entered seated area said pick a table, so we did. About 6 tables hadn't been cleared so sat at table at back which was set for dinner. Sat and sat then girl came to serve meal to next table totally ignored us. She then came back to next table with sauces and again ignored us! We thenoved to uncleared table down steps only 2 others tables of guests so thought can't be run off their feet. Waited and waited then went through to bar. Had to ask a waitress who was going to walk past me if I could get menu...remember I had told duty manager when I checked in that I would be eating so you think they would have taken a note of this ....waitress was rude and said that as I had walked in and found a seat that's why she didn't know we were there!! Must have been invisible! Told her I was a resident and she started to be pleasant. Had dinner and left. Breakfast was quite similar...told that everything was in area and to help self..well no bread, no milk ...as nothing much available I asked if this was all available...she said there was a breakfast menu on table ...which there wasn't! Eventually got menu and ordered ..daughter ordered sausage sandwich ...where I come from a sandwich is 2 pieces of bread not a roll....if she wanted a roll she would have ordered a roll! Carpet hadn't been hoovered from night before. On checking out, again had to go looking for a member of staff...some girl asked said she could take key ...not a thanks for staying or anything friendly.
By tip of Loch Lomond and adjacent to Balloch Country park but noisy road was the downside. Bar looked nice though we ate and drank elsewhere.
Room overlooked main road which was busy. Needed to shut window but room was then too warm. There is a new development being built directly opposite. Request room away from road. Note that hotel sign is for Balloch House - went passed it first time.
