Choose to forgo continental breakfast in favour of English good value
Great value meals. Waiting staff very friendly. Room satisfactory.
Travelling as a lone adult with 2 young children we found the room comfortable. Service from the carvary downstairs was excellent - very busy place on a Friday evening, but we did not have to wait long for a table and could take a buzzer to the room instead of waiting around. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
The area for booking in was quite discrete, which caused a little confusion on entering, but waiting staff happy to direct you.
The location is ideal for visiting several attractions. The food is good value for money. the rooms clean and comfortable.
there were no serious issues.
We had a great, stay the place, staff was spot on and the food was very good
The bed was very soft not to our liking but that was just a small niggle no other problems at all
very helpful and friendly staff
Central location for places we were interested to visit in the area, plus availability of car parking without charge or on a 'first come - first parked' basis.
Limited selection of food if you didn't want a roast from the carvery.
Staff very friendly and helpful, room (101) very comfortable and quiet. Ample parking where we could leave car with buses to Windsor right outside
Cooked breakfast good but little cold
That it was so close to Legoland. The food menu is poor and disappointed I had to pay extra £5 each for cooked breakfast even for my toddler price was same.
Staff are friendly Location is great for London Rooms seem to have had a refurb since our last visit so that was good
The smell of cooking does carry into the corridors of the lodge all evening - only a small thing but could be addressed I think
The location was just what we wanted, the rooms were clean, quiet and adequately sized. Always plenty of hot water and never any problem parking.Staff we spoke to were all friendly and amicable.
We often visit the Toby Inn in Formby and are always delighted with the quality of the food there. However we felt the food at The Innkeepers Lodge fell below this standard. The vegetables on the buffet were often very dry and curled up.Also not my idea of a continental breakfast and felt it unfair to expect customers to pay full price for a cooked breakfast, when it had already been costed into the stay as Bed and Breakfast.
Location Near Windsor Castle
very good really enjoyed here. food was good
comfy rooms and quiet
staff were very strange, tried to pay for hotel before staying wasted a lot of time phoning, scanning & emailing card details so colleagues could check in & they still got asked to pay when they arrived. I was also over charged when I eventually was allowed to pay.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Wonderful atmosphere.
near Legoland which is where we were going
Tacky. Noisy location near a busy road. Understaffed - they weren't impolite but to check in we had to wait for the bar staff to have a free minute! We had booked two rooms but had to pay for them separately, taking twice as long. They asked for payment up front - not usual practice in my experience. The shower was mouldy. The mattresses were hard and lumpy. The pillows were obviously from the pound shop. Made the mistake of looking out of the window for a view of the bins! Would all have been fine for a cheap hotel but we paid far too much for it.
Great food available
Funny smell in corridor, I expect from the kitchens.
Location - 10 min drive from centre Windsor. Cosy accommodation, large room no road noise.
Mattress way too soft kept rolling to the middle of the bed. Left with bad back.
Check in- quick Spacious room Quiet location-despite proximity to airport!
Need hair conditioner!
Easy to find.
Reception area poor, and access to accommodation via a side door adjacent to the public toilets in the bar area led us to fear the worst. However, the room, although basic was clean.
Quiet at night
-location -food -atmosphere-relaxed and friendly whilst being professional.
-view from room(brick wall).
Convenient for Windsor and on bus route if you don't want to drive into Windsor. Near the river for walking.
The staff were friendly and helpful and it was a short taxi ride from Windsor and to Legoland.
It really smelled strongly from the Carvery which in the morning wasn't very nice. The continental breakfast was quite basic and the whole place looked quite down at heel when you saw it in the morning. Also the bed mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
