The large bedroom and bathroom.the steakhouse.
The fact that there was no one on the desk at night.
Very clean tidy and room was spotless. Food was also excellent, staff very pleasent.
We occupied room 1. It was spacious and tastefully furnished, with a large bath and shower room. A good range of free toiletries were set out for our use. The towels were soft and white. The bath was blissful. The king-size bed was exceptionally comfortable. Although the two rooms were large, and we had a overnight frost, the heating was very efficient. We enjoyed the Continental which was generous in its range quality and included in the overnight price. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return when next in the area.
As the Innkeeper's Lodge was not advertised on the outside it was only by chance we entered the Miller and Carter Steakhouse for directions that we learned the accommodation we were seeking was situated above the steakhouse. For the size of room the TV was very small. Although it was suggested a telephone was situated in the room we failed to find one., and we were unable to use our mobile phones because no signal was available.
Very convenient location. Breakfast excellent, just what we wanted with a very good choice of cooked items if wanted. Everything was first class and staff most helpful from reception to checking out. We would go again and recommend to friends.
Spacey rooms and the Miller and Carter restaurant.
Would have liked more choice on the continental breakfast, ie. honey and some different jam varieties and some nuts, seeds and dried fruits to add to cereal.
The whole place was very warm friendly very helpful and all very well welcoming.
The only thing that was a bit strange was I had 2 pay for morning breakfast that was the only fault.
Completely satisfied with my stay at the Innkeepers Lodge. Staff were very welcoming, the place was very modern, clean. Excellent value for money would definitely stay again.
Bedroom size Service
Large spotlessly clean room Excellent food and attentive service at dinner. Even offered to order a cab for our guest.
Poor breakfast facilities Coffee was make your own Had to wait for toaster.......forever Only waitress service was for cooked breakfast.
The bottled water in the rooms was a nice touch.
The wi fi wasnt free. At the price of the room it should be included.
Up on business so a perfect location for me. Good accomodation, very good food and wine, extremely pleasant and efficient staff. Can't really go wrong.
Very comfortable room. Nice resaurant. Great value for money. Pleasant efficient staff.
Dirty mugs in room.
The excellent room and large luxurious bathroom
Nothing really. But agree with a previous comment that the continental breakfast was a bit basic
Stopped here whilst on a busniness trip. Very nice hotel indeed with very helpful staff. Nice location and would definately stay again... both business and pleasure.
The welcome and the quality of the rooms were excellent! The Steak Restaurant offers really good food and service.
Nothing at all!
Great value for money. Lovely place to stop, highly recommended!
Well appointed hotel. Room was really nice with large clean bathroom. Staff were very friendly.
We were out late so had to use side entrance. Directions off the member off staff were not very clear. However only a very small negative.
no lift to second floor, I am a bit disabled. possibly my own fault, didn't think to ask, or choice not given
The room was impeccably clean with all mod cons and a generous king size bed. The en-suite facilities were fine with all the little extras you would expect. The continental breakfast was excellent and the hot items were well worth the extra cost. The staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. I would be happy to recommend this hotel for a weekend break in Liverpool.
There was a constant banging noise from the restaurant downstairs although this stopped at the end of service.
The room was fantastic - roll top bath in the middle of this huge bathroom - and all very comfortable and clean. Dinner was good with perfectly cooked steaks but not the restaurant for nouvelle cuisine or vegitarians....
Organisation of breakfast very sloppy - came down to no coffee and not a soul in sight - and not the first time...
Good location close to Liverpool the young guy who checked us in was very smart and friendly plenty to choose from on continental breakfast enjoyed our staycould have
Could have been signposted better
Spacious, elegant room, with an excellent bathroom. The attached steakhouse produced an excellent if pricey dinner.
The room seemed not to have been used for a while and everywhere was rather dusty, although in principle clean. The mattress was not at all good, though, with springs sticking out uncomfortably in various places - I bruised my ankle on one!
Brilliant food and a lovely hotel. Rooms where modern and clean. Staff where all friendly
Bed was rather hard and we where woken by children running and shouting in the hall way in the early hours of the morning but that was not the hotels fault.
great room loads of space (room no 1) fantastic bathroom with roll top bath. lovely restaurant with fantastic steaks.
nobody can change the weather but it was very hot on our stay, 26th july, there is no air con in the room and the windows do not open (room no 1). when asked, there were no fans available. A sleepless and very hot night followed. please change the windows so they open!
It has three names, rather confusing when new to the area. No a/c so had to have window open which over looked a dual carriageway. Extractor fan in the bathroom lasted for ten minutes and sounded like an aircraft engine roaring.
