Friendly staff, clean although a bit dated, nice location and value for money.
The inn itself is a very dark in style and looks dated.
The manager was accommodating in our room choices and it was dealt with straight away. Lovely break while down in Cheshire for nephews wedding at Cranage Hall.
Loved the stay!
Friendly, helpful staff
A bit noisy and lacking double glazing on the road side
The location was perfect for going north or south on the M6 We liked the Olde Worlde charm in the dining area. The compilmentory breakfast was great and good.
Room large & comfortable
Restaurant food poor and courses served too quickly after each other Shower curtain needed washing
Lovely place to stay excellent service very good
Went to the rewind festival and booked the hotel because it said it was six miles away it wasn't it was ten miles away from venue
Good pub and warm room. Although it was August it was cold and there was heating in the room.
The walls of the bedrooms were thin so you could hear the tvs and guests talking and slamming doors.
rooms lovely, Bears Head great for meals and drinks, had a fantastic weekend visit would book again if in the area
grumpy worker in breakfast room, if you have troubles love keep them at home when people come away for whatever they spend money that keeps you in a job
Staff were helpful and friendly Food very good Very competitatively priced Good location close to M6
Room was a little on the small size
Cosy , homely, efficient friendly staff
Lovely room and yummy food.
A bath as well as a shower would have made it perfect.
Staff very friendly, bar food very good, facilities clean. Fine if you just want to crash out.
Double room too small. Soap and shampoo dispensers instead of complimentary bottles. Wifi courtesy of 02 useless because user confined to homepage.
The attached Pub was excellent Staff and Service were great
Poor Wifi connection
The lodge is close to the highway and to a very nice pub. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is good.
From time to time we could hear the neighbor in the room above ours.
On site restaurant, tasty food. Convenient for sight seeing.
The room was very small, 1 bedside cabinet was all you could accomodate.
Location and friendly atmosphere.
Hair dryers in both bedrooms were useless. They cut out after 10 seconds making it almost impossible to dry your hair unless you have an hour to spare!!! Shower curtain in room 202 useless also. Slug trails all over the carpet in the pub when we sat down to breakfast.
Room was large and clean, staff were very friendly and breakfast was good.
Walls a bit thin.
Book in. Shower Friendly staff
Road noise Breakfast
Friendly and efficient staff nice room Excellent breakfast
Good choice of food and good service.
Appalling snoring coming through wall from neighbouring bedroom! Not hotel's fault obviously but I did wonder about the thickness of the walls. It was so bad we left at about 4:00 a.m. preferring to continue our journey home and miss out on the breakfast than endure the noise..poor person!
