Score from 166 reviews Very good
Staff were great couldnt do enough to help, rooms were a good size and comfortable. The Inn was conveniently located close to the M6 and loads of parking. Food was good and log fire added to our dining experience
Noise of nearby road traffic will lead to a poor nights sleep for light sleepers. Could be cleaner!!
Restaurant was open
It was OK
Attitude of manager who suggested other guests had used up all the hot water. Ice on steps and rails up to room not removed
Staff very friendly, old world pub gorgeous, food fantastic
room was like a sauna, bed lumpy, headboard loose and banged every time I turned over, road noise horrendous
Simple good pub food and tasty so no problem with that. Room was fine for a one night layover
Service at the bar was incredibly slow with only one guy serving but other ladies behind chatting with no eye on customer service. It was confusing as to how to actually pay the bill because no-one explained. At the bar or table service???
It's the second time we have been and this time taken all the family
Easy to find
Bit noise at night
Ideal place to stay as ate in restaurant/bar and met up with family for meal together before christmas. Staff excellent, and very helpful. Room and amenities clean. would stay again.
The rooms, food but most of all the Staff - they are exceptional.
Location friendliness and breakfast
Heavyfooted people upstairs
Good sized room and nice private bathroom
Shower that dribbled when working and then no hot water or heating or real apology when it didn't
Smaller than expected double room . Toiletries not available as advertised. Shower tiles need refurb.
The welcoming comfortable bar and all day dining.| The tasty and well-priced pub food. The comfortable nicely decorated rooms. The friendly helpful staff The 12 noon checkout. Included buffet breakfast With optional cooked breakfast as extra. The price
Bedrooms Look on to noisy main road but there is good double glazing so it cannot be heard with windows shut. Parts of Cooked breakfast needed slightly longer cooking
We like the location and the restaurant is very nice. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean
This time we were in the hotel bit room 210 and it was very very noisy. There is nothing to look at and the room was a little cramped not big enough for a double bed. The floor boards are very creeky and all we could was slamming doors late into the night so we didn't get much sleep. Last time we were in the conversion bit across the courtyard and that was brilliant.
loved the food, even if it is not my favorite kind of... staff is very gentle, room are quite and clean..
only bad think is the wifi that works not well
Near to motorway and pleasant atmosphere
Mattress dips into the centre, coat hooks in the hall would be useful(room 301)
The food in the pub was excellent as was the beer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a very pleasant stay.
It was a motel style room which was very clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and we ate in the pub/resturant on the evening of our arrival, finding the food to be very good.
Value, ambience, staff
A good hotel at a reasonable price. Continental breakfast. Free wi-fi. Free parking. Efficient location close to M6.
Only Continental breakfast without eggs and sausages etc. Is a bit too less... If you leave very early in the morning, you will not get any breakfast - e.g. Like a sandwich packet.
This hotel was good value for money, the rooms were a good size, we had an evening meal also which was reasonably priced and the free continental breakfast was great.
The only fault would be the WiFi was patchy and non existent at times.
Everything. We have stayed several times while visiting family nearby. Its not the Celtic Manor but it has everything we need. Excellent staff, good food, comfortable rooms.
Nothing to report
Location for M6 Stoke.
Awful nights sleep. Noise from radiator pipework and continuous bathroom fans made it impossible to sleep properly. FREE breakfast included a small selection of cereal, yogurts and toast. Anything else was charged for (and not cheap!). Staff helpful, but with a huff and a puff, not one smile during the whole stay.
Good NIghts Sleep
We had a comfortable stay- nice food, helpful staff and good room.
The bed was a bit too soft for us, but that's personal preference.
