the whole package was v.f.m. very convenient for bus travel into the heart of manchester, room clean, tidy and near to ground floor as requested.
room was a little bit cool when we first entered.
value for money, amiable staff, good size car park and a station close by. Easy transport links into Manchester. Food available on site if required - great value breakfast.
noise of what I think was a fan (possibly from the kitchen?) close to my room which went on through the night. Very steep stairway to rooms on the upper floor. Decor somewhat dated.
Fairly quiet location. Good carvery. Good range of choices on included breakfast.
Not a lot of choice on evening meals if you don't want carvery.
Lovely greeting on arrival Comfortable clean room Value for money Access to our room past midnight
Electrics were faulty on the Sunday morning making drying our hair difficult and this meant the carvery lunch was cancel and ourselves and friends we were visiting had to eat elsewhere.
Staff were helpful Room and bathroom clean Beds comfy Competitively priced
The welcoming ambience. Overall I've had no better accommodation at double and treble the price. Usually don't sleep very well first night in strange bed. Did very much better this time. Visiting relatives who live nearby, location was spot on for us.
Disabled room bed a bit hard for us.WOULD HAVE SORTED PILLOW out if staying more than one night.
Part private from pub that was good
Going into a pub to get the keys with two small kids wrong.
Electricity went off intermittently in the morning! Could not use the bathroom to shave etc. No apology and no explanation offered when handing in the keys. We left not prepared for our day! In fact ruined our day.Very disappointed!
Location. Carvery very good Room decoration very nice just cobwebs.
No lights, TV or shower In morning as electric went off in the middle of the night and never came back on. No cooked breakfast available in morning as no electric and was looking forward to and had to settle for cereal and yoghurt. Smell & noise from extractor outside room window.
friendly staff, comfortable room and the location was good - between Stockport and Manchester. Nice to have a bar downstairs serving cheap food.
You have to pay for wifi. Room was a little cold.
Nice handy hotel
convenience of booking, check-in, ease of use, security and access to rooms, good breakfast
room was rather warm and it was not easy to ventilate
Location close to station Very Comfy beds Great food at reasonable price
Same price for single room as double room = £64 per night
Had a comfortable stay, Enjoyed the breakfast , Enjoyed our stay there.
I was dissappointed with the bedding, which I told a staff member.
Location Local bars not far away Carvery very clean room
No lift wifi was very slow if avaiable at all
Room was clean lots of tea and coffee ,good clean bed and clean towels. It is a three star and lives up to that.
Room was freezing even though heating was on.
Very handy for Christie Hospital where my husband had an appointment. Staff very friendly. Room great, clean and very comfortable bed. Everything in room we needed. Food from Toby Carvery good in the evening as was breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
We asked for a quiet location when booking two months in advance and was given a room overlooking the A6, reallyl noisy
Bathroom absolutely spotless, good sized room. Quieter than expected for a busy main road location.
Very dry croissants at breakfast
The carvery adjoining the hotel was excellent which meant we didn't have to search for eating establishments
For some reason we think in England continental breakfast means a slice of toast and an apple- also bed was extremely hard
It was a pefect place for our business travel south of Manchester. Good price. Large and clean room. Free and large parking, free internet with good connection, full English breakfast for £4 from 7am, restaurant (carvery) and bar with a good choice of beers at the hotel.
You need to register for internet every new day but it's still better than paid Internet. It would be much easier to pay for breakfasts or dinners at once at the end of the stay.
The location and friendly staff the carvery was very good quality and value
the room I had on the front of the hotel sufferd a lilltle from the road noise
Too d service. Good location. Co we to airport and all amenities for travellers.
The extractor fan from the restaurant running until about midnight and back on again at about 6am...right under our window. Cooking smells in room so could not ventilate room.
General atmosphere. Friendly staff
contorted access to / between daytime areas and bedrooms. Very steep / narrow stairs for cases. Name long winded with 'Toby Carvery' as well.
