Restaurant/bar needs some refurbishment
Good booking system. Parking available. Interesting old building. Good meal.
Noisy patrons under bedroom window. Smokers under window and around door.
On arrival the staff were attentive and helpful and the evening meal menu offered plenty of variety and the meals selected were good to outstanding.
The bar and restaurant area lacked atmosphere and the bar staff seemed more interested in their friends than the customers. The gents toilets were in a terrible state as though a huge water fight had just taken place!
The atmosphere, the location.
Big room for myself and 3 children. 1 in with me in the double and right up the other end of the large room were the other two children on a sofa bed. The pub is beautiful with a warm friendly atmosphere. Continental breakfast was lovely and very relaxed. Walking distance to a super Indian restaurant too, however the pub menu looked lovely too.
Unexpectedly lovely stay considering it was the cheapest option we could find to visit Stratford Upon Avon. Staff, facilities everything really nice!
Thought the place was called Innskeeper Lodge, however really Kings Head Tavern, so missed it first time through town!

Don't change a thing, you can't improve on perfection. 11/10
The mattress on the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It didn't even fit the bed properly.
Location was pretty and this could have been a lovely pub, but needs some money spending on it.
The food was microwaved and the beer was stale
staff especially friendly and helpful
Excellent dinner. Helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
Food, hospitality. Felt comfortable during our stay.
All of the above coming from NZ it was a pleasant experience.
Great value rooms quiet and a good size family room
Building had character.
Fact that any complimentary toiletries and bath mat had to be asked for . TV had no signal. I dinned in restaurant in evening. Quality of food was poor but service was even worse. Had to wait ages. Could not get attention of the waitress who kept disappearing. After finally being served the dessert it was the wrong dessert . I would not eat here again . Breakfast lacked fruit salad, grapefruit or similar. something got would be nice.
Warm n friendly atmosphere from the start in good location 2 Stratford upon Avon; secure accommodation as travelling as 2 sisters together. Helpful staff who fulfilled requests including requests 4 more towels n teabags n even fruit choices 4 continental breakfast...also good food menu-platter starter excellent!
The staff were very good and polite.
The 'family' room for which they asked payment before I had even seen it was very basic and typically cream and brown and felt claustrophobic. This was not helped by the fact that the windows were fixed to not open more than roughly 6 inches and it was very hot at night. It did not have air conditioning. The hairdryer was locked to the inside of a drawer and only worked for about 2 minutes at a time. The toilet paper was as hard as rock and not exactly plentiful. The room had no information about the area only food and drink menus. The food was uninspiring with lots of beer batter and fried things. Portions were very small. Fish, chips and mushy peas was around £11. This was an expensive couple of days for very little in return. An experience that I will not repeat.
Good location, large room friendly staff.
Continental breakfast restricted to toast, croissant, muffin etc. Wifi not strong enough to use skype.
Excellent location for visiting Warwick and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Generally clean and tidy. helpful staff. Good selection of food.
two chairs in room one of which the joints were coming apart. the other had bad staining on seat cover.
Room was good and pleasant
Breakfast was not worth anything - was not even a continental type, just odd cereal, 1 yogurt, toast, lukewarm coffee or tea and what tasted like cordial juice......
Beds very uncomfortable
Pleasant surroundings. Good selection of drinks. Pleasant staff. Clean room and en suite. Comfortable bed. Tea in room.
No free Wi Fi. Very basic breakfast. Evening meal was good but spoilt by being ripped off. Charged £2.50 for a "dressed side salad" which consisted of some chopped, dry lettuce, nothing else, no dressing, and served in the smallest bowl possible. There was a fork full.
