Friendly staff Good food in restaurant Clean room
Village clock chiming through the night WiFi optional cost
Comfy room, dinner in restaurant was great value, breakfast was superb. Would definitely visit again
Good location. Initially concerned about traffic noise as its on busy road but very little traffic at night so had quiet night
Room small. Some leaking from pipes on bathroom floor. Bar drinks very expensive! Good parking. Staff very helpful on arrival. OK for a one night stay as stop off on way to Dover.
The shower is excellent, really powerful and lots of hot water, I especially liked the complimentory toiletries and biscuits. The room is comfortable, but begining to look a little shabby, Bed was comfortable and clean.
Room and bathroom looking shabby, probably needs a new carpet.
Helpful staff Comfortable room Good food at dinner & breakfast Ample parking
Bathroom on the small side, poorly lit and with badly maintained fittings.
Location Bar Room
Staff Lack of fresh air storage space, hooks etc
Location, Helpful staff,
Could not open window in bedroom, Bedroom small,
The food, and with a varied menu. Outlook onto the greenest part of the town. Staff English or spoke good English and had a sense of humour. They seem very flexible in all they do - very few 'rules'!
Busy main road and access on and off that road, though I appreciate there is not a lot they an do to improve that
Convenient stopping point on journey. Lovely situation.
Friendly and casual.
Meals (a la carte) a bit expensive. Would help to cater for an ordinary menu as well.
Easy to find.Good parking.Pleasant décor.Comforable bed.
Reception on arrival was indifferent rather than welcoming.
Breakfast was very good.
Right on the main road so was a bit noisy.
Food in the restaurant was very good as was the service.
It was stylish, good position was able to book at short notice. Talked the talk. Restaurant was good quality but expensive. Staff in restaurant were attentive.
I forgot to check about accessibility. No ground floor rooms. My husband is disabled and Blue Badge holder. Manager couldn't have cared less -all he wanted was my card. No offer of help with bags. I am nearly 64. Best part of the bar was reserved for non-residents party but they were young and trendy. Dinner started with 1st choice unavailable - Fish & Chips? Room was small, impossible to open the window, toilet had cheapest seat available in western world. Breakfast was awful - no protein, croissants were dry and reheated - collapsed when broken. Was not offered cooked menu. Asked for it but no-one took the order. No-one to say goodbye or ask if we had enjoyed our stay.Fine for those who wish to disappear into the curtains. You can be ignored here beautifully.
Rooms good ,bed comfortable
Wifi not connected for two days ,ok on the final day TV ,did not work properly ,unable to view bbc 1 bbc 2 Restaurant food good ,price ,just a bit high Not a big fan of continental breakfast ,although this was clearly advertised prior to booking.i feel within the price the English style breakfast should be offered. Beer at bar at a fiver a pint ,again to high .even in Kent you can drink cheaper
Very friendly staff, they pampered us. Great restaurant. Our daughter got crayons and after she made a drawing the waitress put it up on the wall. She was so proud, our little one!
No Wi-Fi available if you don't have a uk phone number! The waiter did give us his mobile number, so the problem was solved.
The room was comfortable and clean, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed.The hotel and parking feel secure. Breafast was good.
There was a funny smell in the bathroom. The hotel is close to a main road, quite busy at night...
Staff were efficient and very friendly. Food was of a high quality, parking was easy. We booked out 7 rooms for the night as we had a wedding to go to the next day and they made sure we were all together. I can think of nothing bad to say. You get what they say you get. Well done and thank you.
Comfy beds, clean rooms, modern decor, well presented and clean bathroom, helpful and friendly staff, amazing food in the restaurant at good prices. Overall, excellent value for money.
Window was open when we arrived and the room was - and stayed - cold, as no sunshine on that side of the hotel. However, wonderfully comfy twin beds and we were cosy and warm once in them! One sheet was stained, but laundered, and replaced within 10 minutes.
Staff very helpful.
No hot water to wash or shower in morning. Noise from road keeping us awake to early hours. Very poor breakfast; croissant either stale or over baked. Would expect far better, including cooked breakfast for the money. Stayed at Ye Olde Crown in Edenbridge the previous night for same cost and much, much better value.
It was comfortable and well run,the staff were always helpful,I would certainly go back.
Very pleasant Terrace.
Service was slow at Breakfast No Lift No Disable Parking Places
Clean,comfortable room with all usual facilities.Excellent evening meals & 1st class breakfast.Friendly staff.Highly recommended.Pleasant 3 day stay.Many thanks...R&MJC,Lancashire.
Being told our party should go to bed as the staff were wanting to lock all doors. It was not ever midnight on a balmy summer evening. Not tab or credit allowed in hotel every item had to be paid for as ordered. Therefore all our party had to carry cash or cards.
Good pricing for comfortable accommodation good restaurant attached with qualified staff
Hot room with no air circulation due to the heat wave (Windows could not be opened) Poor wifi in the room
