View and food
Bath facilities dated
friendliness and helpfulness of staff
room needed a re-vamp
location, excellent breakfast fantastic view from room
room far to hot. Ceiling fan hardly moved. Tv too small
Location and will use again if the price is right. Décor throughtout hotel is interesting however that does not detract from providing a clean, comfortable room (pillows passed muster) with a more than adequate bathroom and shower. Room with Lake view was unexpected but appreciated Breakfast was substantial and fair value.
The location, as it was near to family we were visiting.
Room a little outdated, although I appreciate we could have paid more for a refurbished room. It could have been cleaner - some dusty surfaces . Coffee at breakfast not very hot but otherwise a good meal.
Most staff friendly Great breakfast TV actually works Largish rooms Comfortable beds Clean
Some reception desk staff can be stand offish. Some parts of the rooms need minor repair or maintenance. Sidelight did not work. Be careful of the anti slip bath mat they slip in the bath.
good breakfast..staff friendly...easy parking....basic room but clean and all the basics you need.
Location close to Tube station
Towels were like drying with sand paper
Comfortable spacious room good breakfast
Bathroom could do with modernising
everything the hotel wos so friendly we have stayed there more than 3 times and we loved every time
Good value for money. Rooms warm and clean and staff friendly Location convenient for Gravesend where we were visiting
Hotel a little tired and could do with a make over. Barman not exactly Mr Personality in contrast to rest of staff who were fine.
the room the view the breakfast
We only stayed one night, but we were very happy with everything.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Good size room clean and tidy with nice rom overlooking lake which I recommend you ask for - it cost me an extra 10 but wort it - the front is a busy dual carriageway.
Wi fi was playing up and not availabile during our stay
was a lovely hotel I would recommend this to everyone it was lovely waking up to a view of the lakes and a patio area, when we got home we booked straight away to stay again in Easter 2015 for 2 nights
could do with a bigger tv in room and update the bathroom
Bed was kingsize
Staff couldn't see the two bookings I made and we're not interested in the code off my email confirmation. Then said no double room available! Booking was for a smoking room and didn't get this either!!
Room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, bar was reasonably priced, meal was good, and cabaret good, service was excellent, great breakfast. overall great value for money, would definitely stay again.
Reception staff a bit miserable,as were the bar staff at the beginning of the evening.bit more cheerful towards the end of the night
Value for money - good facilities - spotlessly clean - fab view from lake view room. Excellent breakfast.
Having to dine in the same area as a function who were congregating at the bar area - this was a Sunday evening.
The room, being by the lake, the comfort, the break. The opportunity to relax.
It's always noisy at night with people talking loudly in the corridors. Having to wait at the bar to order a meal, no one came for quite a while. Making our own toast!
Large comfortable room with terrific view over the lake. The staff were excellent from check in to breakfast service. Everyone was very friendly, courteous and efficient.
A circuitous drive from the main road (A2) to find the entrance.
Price is ok for what you get, and nice view of the lake.
Cracked tiles in the shower, sofa in the room that had seen better days, greasy cooked breakfast, poor service at the bar, TV in the room so small and far away from the bed you need binoculars to see it. Pillows so flat you need at least three to adequately support your head.
Being on the lake side of hotel
The food is not very good had a lamb shank and a steak both were not very nice other than that can't fault the hotel
Decent size room, WiFi included in room, parking on site.
Hotel in need of refurbishment, everything is a bit dated a tired and needs sprucing up. Suspect sheets were not fresh on as we found a hair in the bed! Very difficult to get a taxi from there, they all have to travel from Gravesend/Rochester which adds about £12 each way on to you journey.
The space n the room. The outlook over the lake.
The food was not good in the evening. Breakfsat was ok although the ooked breakfast was a bit small. So overall the food let this hotel doen
