Just 10 minutes from Rochester upon Medway and the Dartford Tunnel, this hotel is within an hour’s drive of the Channel Tunnel, ferry ports and central London. The hotel has direct access from the A2 London to Dover road, but is set back in 12 acres of peaceful woodland with 2 fine lakes. There is parking for over 250 cars. Lovely big room, very comfortable. Food was great; both in the bar/restaurant and the breakfast. Portions were massive. Lovely setting with patio doors and view over lake. Would definitely recommend this hotel. No major problems as we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. But if we had to give negatives they would be: tv screen in bedroom a bit small Fire alarm went off at 6.30am (false alarm) Walls between rooms are quite think so the noise carries

We have stayed at this hotel a few times, but we were very dissatisfied this time, the room we felt could have been cleaner, the matress on the bed had bit sticky up out of it and was very uncomfortable, the television only had a about 4 channels because of the digital changeover, we could have sat in the lounge and watched tv there, that is if yiou want to watch football every night. It would have been nice if we were greeted with a smile as we came through reception. but the staff behind the counter didn't even look up at us, at lease when you got in have your breakfast the waiting staff in there at least pleasant to you. Not if we will stay here again!!!

Definitely worth paying the extra for the lake facing room. Would have been too noisy facing themain road. Comfortable clrean rooms, very spacious. Bit of noise from the function room but not too bad, justthe constant boom of the bass.

Location on M2 - good for visiting surrounding area, room size, bar and restaurant staff, breakfast. Food was provided freshly cooked but quickly. Lack of welcome from reception, poor appearance of outside and inside, cleanliness of bedroom.

The bar food was very good. I had the pizza and it's the best I have had in a long time. Nothing I didn't like apart from the bath wasn't over big but I am tall.

Friendly, Clean, comfortable Friday night visited family on returning to hotel couldn't find a parking spot due to a rowdy funk night and had to park on some waste land. Should be an area for residents parking. On Saturday no restaurant service due to Diana Ross tribute night! Monday morning fire alarm went of at 5.30 A.M. No staff showed up for 20 mins and were just told to go back in no explanation given

All of our rooms were too hot and very dusty. The soap dispenser was broken in my room.The beds were very lumpy.My son and daughter in law had a double room facing the lake but someone had left the sliding door unlocked and as we arrived late that could have lead to someone getting into their room.So all in all as stated we stayed their because we were attending a party but it's not a Hotel you would want to stay in for long.

I arrived after 10.30 pm and hungry, i asked if there was any chance of food and was given the bar menu and told they could do anything listed, which considering the kitchen staff had finished i thought was really good service.

It's friendly, good value for money, it's quiet although it's close to the A2. Staff are efficient. The only thing I would mark as a negative is the fact there is no indication of what is hot and what is cold on the taps in the bathroom. The hotel could do with updating a bit (decor wise) but the room was clean which is more important.
