Second time i have stayed her this year. I like it! has a querky charm about it. The staff are generally very good, and it is a refreshing change to find a large hotel, so close to London where English is the first language of all the customer facing employees! The staff here do try to make sure you are happy and content. I use it as a daytime stopover before going to France, and sometimes the cleaning staff can be a bit noisy, but I have to say on this occasion there were totally unheard and actually left me a little bag of coffees, milks etc ties to my door handle as i had my do not disturb sign out, Perfect! Breakfast good, price good, location good.Don't be put off by the large amount of shop fitters etc staying there. Not convinced that the bottom sheet of my bed was "fresh". but too tired to argue so fell into it and slept right through. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the bar and in the restaurant was good value. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I have recommended the hotel to some work colleagues. When my wife and I visit Kent in the future we will definitely stay at the hotel. Complements to the staff for a very enjoyable stay. |

Sat Nav will take you straight to the gates, it is quite hidden. Very nice stay, good welcome on arrival, room was big, clean and had all that I needed. No food at the Lodge, but 5 mins walk is the Beehive pub, that did an excellent dinner. Would stay again. |

Comfortable, clean, staff are always welcoming. Reasonable bar food. A nice cooked breakfast. Good value for money all round. The shower heads are too small. The tv reception on some channels is poor. Sometimes the remote controls don't work. |

The view over the lake from the hotel room was lovely The decor needs updating but I think that it adds to the appeal in a funny sort of way, a bit crossroads motel meets the conservative club! |

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found we had a beautiful room overlooking the lake. We had only booked a couple of days in advance and at a very competitive price. Breakfast and staff excellent. |

While we were there the hotel was in the process of redecorating, which when complete will give a new lease of life to a rather tired hotel. Staff friendly, breakfast was excellent but the food in the evening wasnt of a very hight standard. |

The hotel was easily accessible. I loved the lake although I didn't get to enjoy being outside because of bad weather. The breakfast was great - good value for money and getting into Gravesend town centre was relatively easy. I had no access to music or the internet and the choice of T.V. stations was very limited. |

The hotel is being decorated and is starting to look good again. Hope they do not jack up the prices to pay for it! |

I really liked the location as, although it's on the A2, it's lakes make it seem like it's way out in the countryside. |

A lovely occassion as our friends wedding was held there, food was good and function room well laid out. I would consider a function to be held there, maybe christmas event or family occasion. |
