receptionist and bar staff very helpful and friendly room was a large one with good facilities

Price is reasonable although the hotel is a little dated in parts but is gradually being updated. The bathrooms need refurbishment but are clean.

Bathrooms need updating and decor is old fashioned but it's a clean hotel and we stay there regularly and know what to expect!

Not a lot, it's clean the staff are friendly but found that this hotel is used by contractors as it's close to a main road, been to Chavez there beds as would say not the best sleep I have had in a long time.

Not a lot, I know it's was only £59 per nigh,t but think needs to drop there price.

Good parking facilities, staff very pleasent and helpful. Room a good size,clean and comfortable.

These are not really complaints, more observations. Inbound route from london a2 confusing. Friday night 2nd December 2011 the hotel was hosting a very large party of I believe lorry drivers, possibly thier christmas get to-gether. This meant it was very noisy with occasional bad language and we were woken on several occasions throughout the night by people passing in the corridor outside our room being extemely vocal and one time at 2am someone banging our door, also people getting into cars directly outside bedroom window and saying goodbye to each other. We were staying at the hotel because my wife's mother had passed away and we needed to spend a couple of days at her home sorting things out at plumstead, we live in broadstairs so this saved us travelling. Sleeping was and still is very difficult for my wife so we could have done without this selfishness from other patrons.

The room and the bed was huge! The breakfast was advertised as 'continental included' - yes there was a continental breakfast that was buffet styke but you could also have a full english breakfast for no extra charge that was lovely and served really quickly.

Struggling to think of anything bad but if I was being very picky... The front door is a bit erratic & I wasn't keen on the toilet - over full of water. Also, no little packs of biscuits with the tea/coffee (told you I was struggling)

Internet - very expencive and slow

The hotel is very nice, rooms are clean with new furniture. The value for money is exelent. I wouldn't like to spend more money for a better hotel, because Inn On The Lake has everything for a short stay

From a business point of view the stay was good value for money. The room was clean and with good facilities.

The only problem was the cost of the internet which from a business point of view was too expensive especially when many hotels are offering free internet for guests

Ideal location for the ball we were attending, the room was clean & large as smokers we aprreciated the patio doors [ so we could go outside] but disappointed no ash trays out side so hence dog ends everywhere. We liked it so much tried to book again on 10th Dec but fully booked. Will definately come again .xxx

The hotel is abit dated but good sized rooms, clean, comfortable bed and evening meal was very good

Lake is lovely, pleased paid the extra £10 to be on the lakeside. Food was very good, only 1 exception -the croissants were stale. 70's decor made us laugh, very clean

Stayed at the hotel recently to attend a friend's wedding and initially was a little wary of what it would be like. It was a completely unreasonable waryness as the hotel was gorgeous and a perfect location for a wedding. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the food delicious (but filling) and the room very nice. The hotel has a lovely feel to it and I would relish the opportunity to stay again.

The only thing I guess I could find fault with was not being able to get into the room any earlier then 3pm. I was working half day and had initially planned to get ready at the hotel, but this was not possible and when I got there I could totally understand why as everyone had planned to do this! Good job they did stay firm.
