The room was damp and cold. The shower was coming off the wall
General disinterest of the staff.
Location, friendly staff, problem with shower in room sorted immediately..clean decent budget room fine for a couple of nights.
Apart from the fact that the lift was out of order and breakfast(continental) wasn't great no complaints...
Staff and breakfast was ok.
Cleanliness carpets need a clean.l.P.
Room small but reflected price
Staff were excellent and very helpful. The location and ease to access public transport was a highlight. Rooms were basic but contained all you needed. Great value for price.
Sometimes basic housekeeping was missed eg taking away dirty cups/jugs that had contained milk for using in tea and coffee.
Liked the location
Bathroom was filthy and door was broken. Room was in basement and much smaller than expected.
If you like someone else's commit in the corner of you're room, this mid your place. If not, go elsewhere......
Staff were very nice and welcoming, me and my mate were there for wireless festival at finsbury park and it was only a half an hour walk to wireless which was handy
Hot shower !
Very small room shower very tight to get in and out, Dirty and noisy glad I didn't pay more then I did !
Shower was too hot
Room had a floor fan which was great as the weather was very warm. Asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel away from the road and was accomodated.checkout Was a very reasonable 12 o clock. Staff very helpful.
Tea at breakfast was very very weak. I would advise requesting a quiet room. Otherwise Essex road is very noisy. I know because I have stayed before and barely slept for 4 nights! (I should have asked to be moved that time....but I didn't) one room I stayed in previously did have a normal chair in addition to the bed. But most rooms do not have a chair.
Location, Staff, Clean
Very very small (no room down side of bed but it was advertised as a Small Budget Room so no real complaint.
I am sorry but wifi in your room when travelling is a right, not a luxury. Particularly if you smoke and the only place with wifi is the restaurant with no outdoor seating
Milk and bread was left in the fridge from previous tenants
smallest room ever, not very clean also, go somewhere else
Prompt response when the room we first booked into had plumbing problems. Immediately relocated to a larger room.
Bed was quite uncomfortable.Poor quality bed linen. Smell in bathroom from toilet system.
Just a really good place to stay for London has a really good room for the price
The staff were really friendly, the location great, beds comfortable the breakfast room had a lovely 'cafe' atmosphere.
Realised too late after shower that you had to obtain a hairdryer from reception as there wasn't one in the room, there was no bathmat and the blind was broken.
Friendly staff, central location
Tiny room with an awful view, expected more for the money
The location was perfect for us as it was a short bus ride from Finsbury Park where we were attending a concert. Staff were friendly and helpful.Great value for the money.
Room was a bit dated.
Beds were very comfy and breakfast was lovely.
Carpets in the bedroom needed hoovering and the tv signal didn't work.
good location, easy access to public transport and a good standard of cleanliness. Would certainly use this hotel again.
Even for London, the room was tiny- hardly any room to move, in fact there was more space in the en-suite!
