The location was excellent near the tube station. Room was big enough for two.
No TV. Only one sheet for two in the bed. We asked for one more but newer got it. No glasses at all.
TOP Location clean safe
I did not like the fact that the housekeeping guy waked me up every morning by knocking once and then opening my door to empty my wastebin although I told him every morning not to just enter into my room. He did not care. Privacy should be respected!
Great location, easy to access, and near to Camden/Kings Cross Good breakfast menu included, and friendly staff
- Location - Cleanliness - Very large breakfast
On transit on a budget after honeymoon : had stayed there as a student 10 years ago so gave it a go. You could pay more for a lot worse
Door didn't feel secure
This was a pretty cool place to stay. It had a lot of the good qualities of a youth hostel, but none of the serious drawbacks. The breakfast was excellent and I met a lot of nice people in the dining commons. Much better than staying in a standard hotel.
It was a bit noisy, but nothing horrible.
Great facility with wonderful staff, location etc.Fantastic breakfast.
The building was so hot, it was difficult to sleep at night. And the noise from the lift in front across from my window was loud.
The hotel was very close to UCL's engineering building, where I had to go. It is very cheap, and has a decent breakfast.
The internet is not the best, it is not very clear where the toilets/bathrooms are (but they are clean at least)
breakfast, private bathroom, location conveniently near a metro station and a shopping area with dining options.
When I made this booking I didn't realize that this is still a functioning college dorm at University of London. The staff working there were all student workers, and you didn't get the same service you would from an actual hotel/hostel. I guess you get what you pay for.
Great location and very close to the tube. The breakfast was excellent!
It was pricey for a simple room and no kettle.
The location, it is central to everything shops bars underground. beautiful area especially summer time (park facing)
The bed not the best, but does for couple of nights. Long-term questionable.
The location was excellent for getting anywhere important because Russell Square is a one minute walk from its door. Very safe location and a shopping complex right near it for everything you need to grab. Breakfast is incredible with anything you can think of being available.
Staff weren't good at checking whether you had a room or not. Anyone could have just walked in to the building.
Everything was great except for the hard mattress.
That i am still waiting for the receipt of my payment...
This was a great place to stay while a family member was at her UCL graduation ceremony in Bedford Square last Tuesday
It was all good, and good value for money.
Close to subway, clean rooms
Very rude staff, bad beds!
Whilst the accommodation was basic it had what we needed. Close proximity to Euston and Kings x meant our trip to Wembley to watch the Challenge Cup Final was easy! Good range of shops and pubs nearby and a pretty tree lined square nearby. Friendly unobtrusive staff. A fridge!! Good shower! Bed in the wall. I left happy :)
Arghhhhhh!! No full length mirror! And forgot to take a mug for my morning cuppa so gad to go and buy one. :(
excellent location, good value for money,
internet situation, staff attitude
Location ( very close to public transportation ) Breakfast ( very good for thay price ) Staff ( respectful and helpful)
No WI-FI in the bedrooms Not very clean Awfully smelling corridors because of the kitchen No bathroom in the rooms
Location is amazing, we had a studio which provided some extra space and a private bathroom. It was very cheap for what we got. Basically everything was just very functional and we absolutely got what we payed for. Great hotel for a city trip, especially for young people on a budget!
Breakfast was the epitome of canteen food: It was edible, but nothing really tasted any good.
convenient, not too expensive, very central, very easy (premises, restaurant etc) my son booked for me, please do not put his name and city on the review but mine : B. Vallantin, Paris
room on the hall - noisy at night or stuffy if window closed carpet needed cleaning
The room is a small studio with a double bed and basic kitchen appliances. It's in a great location one block from the Piccadilly line and about four blocks from the British museum. If you're strapped for cash there's a grocery store one block from the residence hall (a great alternative to the super expensive London restaurants). The breakfast (included) is great and it's buffet style.
Our room was in the basement so we couldn't really open the curtains (there are lots of rooms above ground though). We didn't really care about turn down service but if you're picky about that, it only happens once a week (there's a laundry room that you can use to wash and iron your clothes).
Neat and tidy. Great location and large selection of meals in the breakfast menu.
I had a room with a view of the main hall so at nights the noise of laughter, laud talks, elevator etc. coming from the main hall was unbearable. Someone at the reception should keep an eye on the way the coming and going residents behave or at least on the noise level in the main hall at nights.
-staff was very rude and unhelpful -no fresh air, windows can't be opened properly -bed: horrible, dont want to know how old the mattress was
