The location, it is central to everything shops bars underground. beautiful area especially summer time (park facing)
The bed not the best, but does for couple of nights. Long-term questionable.
The location was excellent for getting anywhere important because Russell Square is a one minute walk from its door. Very safe location and a shopping complex right near it for everything you need to grab. Breakfast is incredible with anything you can think of being available.
Staff weren't good at checking whether you had a room or not. Anyone could have just walked in to the building.
Everything was great except for the hard mattress.
That i am still waiting for the receipt of my payment...
This was a great place to stay while a family member was at her UCL graduation ceremony in Bedford Square last Tuesday
It was all good, and good value for money.
Close to subway, clean rooms
Very rude staff, bad beds!
excellent location, good value for money,
internet situation, staff attitude
-staff was very rude and unhelpful -no fresh air, windows can't be opened properly -bed: horrible, dont want to know how old the mattress was
The location was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.
It would be useful to have a toaster in the shared kitchen.
No fan in room, kettle but no mugs
Location Value Quiet Friendly Staff
Bathroom toilets clogged Internet not available by cable and no support staff to troubleshoot on weekend
Excellent location Very close to Russell Sq tube station
Institutional... breakfast self serve very busy, and cafeteria very full. As expected in an educational facility
location flexibility food equipment facilities
entrance - the card did not work noise at night few bathrooms
Location, young environment, pretty clean
On day of arrival room was clean exept for the bin which was full of food and had to take it out myself. Needed an extra blanket - staff said impossible to have Needed an extra towel - got it only after not backing up from the stuff. cause at first they dismissed us (the night officers)
The location, the security, the staff the accommodation i.e. room bed and etc. The food and the ability to buy meals other than those provided. The general atmosphere. Would certainly stay again.
The noise from students calling out loudly late at night as they caroused along the street beneath the windows. The showers which were difficult to use and had no privacy.
Great accommodation. Good breakfast food & plenty of it. Clean & comfortable. Fantastic location.
Room was a little too hot & couldn't work out how to turn it down.
good location, and good price, quite comfortable
noisy from neighbours. strict check-in and check-out time
Will definitely book this place again. Russell square is very central. There is a waitrose next door. Price of accommodation can't be better. Breakfast very good and huge
No wifi in room. Windows open slightly ajar (not enough) cleaning is not reg enough. Some visitors are loud.
My single room was clean. There was a long table, a cattle and a sink. Received a clean towell, soap, showel gel, shampoo and slippers on arrival. Waste bin was emtied every week. Full room cleaning is once a week. Overal very good value for money. 15 mins walk to Big Ben. Good breakfast. Fast free WiFi in common areas.
Toilets and showers are on the floor. The shower room was specially dodgy. The showers are in cabins of three, separated by a thin wall. But there's only one sewer which is in the central cabin. So all the waste from the side cabins flow at the feet of the guy in the central cabin.
It was lovely and quiet at night.
We had asked for a disabled room if possible as my husband has Parkinson's and finds walking difficult. When we arrived we were allocated a room on 5th floor as far from the lift as it was possible to get. When I asked if we could move to something so he didn't have so far to walk I was told it was not possible. In the mornings when the lift was busy we sometimes had to wait for a long time and there was no chair for him to sit down.
Breakfast was good but too crowded, there was nowhere to sit. The room was spacious and clean, it was nice to have my own desk and sink.
The bathrooms and toilets were too few and far away, quite inconvenient. The laundry was also super far away and complicated to get to. It would be nice if the place had more signage.
Near metro station and have 24hr mart.
Its Wifi needs to be in the lobby to access.....
-good location, Brunswick shopping area with supermarkets and places to eat opposite the building, only 2minutes walk from the underground station Russel Square -quiet - microwave and kitchen in the room - good breakfast buffet with traditional full English breakfast -student common rooms could be used inkluding music room and squash court - good price for London (central area)
-uncomfortable beds - the windows can only be tilted but not fully opened, so it was very hot in the room although it was chilly outside - the rooms are not cleaned during the stay, only the towels get changed - swipe cards were necessary to enter the building, but the mechanism didn't work properly, so it was a huge challenge every evening to get back inside
