I liked the size of the room very nice, worth its money, comfortable and nicely located. I enjoyed my breakfast it was very nice and nicely layed out.Overall I enjoyed my stay. There was only a couple of things that makes me question staying again in the future. I didnt like the noise from the persons staying in the next room it was very loud and kept me up all night there was more then 1 person there many came to and from on several occasions through the night doors slamming people shouting girls screaming there was a consumption of alcahol and cigarette smoke could be smelt through the walls, is there security? Are there cameras? When you are somewhere you have never been before you expect to feel safe and at 5 months pregnant I didnt, that ruind my stay I enjoyed everything else the room the food and the staff just not the experiance

Helpful staff Needs a bit of an update, kept expecting Ruth Watson Hotel Inspector to walk in and start making sugggestions. sausages at breakfast were horrible

The water temperature kept getting cold whilst having a shower/bath which happened twice to me and was really disappointing as I had to have a cold shower before leaving and the water did not get warm enough.

Food at the hotel restaurant was of a very good standard, and well presented. Staff were all friendly. The service in the restaurant both at dinner and at breakfast was very slow. The hotel was lacking in any ambiance.

The room was a really good size I did book the suit, however I do feel that money needs to be spent on the room as there was damp stains which was a shame. The reception staff were lovely I am sorry to say the breakfast was awful!! It really was, they had run out of mushroom, I asked if there were any more, they brought out 3 mushrooms, yes three! It was cold and of a very poor standard, the manager was a little unpleasant! I attend regular function in Derby and stay in hotels offen, I will not be staying here again.

Buffet breakfast was fantastic, comfortable beds too! The heating came on in the middle of the night? - The xmas party food was absolutely awful. The food was disgusting and the portions small (not a bad thing in this instance!) - presumably this is not the general standard of food served?

Room very noisy ?from heating system from about 6am. no lock on bedroom window which opened onto a terrace accessible from rear car park so felt unsafe for me as female. bacon at breakfast rock hard!

Large clean rooms. Full facilities in room 1. Hotel was 'tired'. Needs a revamp/redecorate. Public rooms all a bit tatty. 2. Breakfast 'adequate' ditto service

The room and dinner on both nights were very good The location to the city centre is very close, the bus stops right outside the hotel or it is only a short walk The breakfast on Saturday was inedible, only 10 minutes after it opended for service.We did complain and our complaint was passed on to the Manager. Sunday breakfast was better but still dried out. This was our third visit to this hotel, would not stay there again, We would look for a different hotel to stay in Derby next time

Room (a suite) was very large, well equipped (e.g. a leather three piece suite, 'his and hers' sinks) and comfortable. However, the shower didn't work properly and there was mould on the bath mat. The evening meal was very disappointing. We had stayed earlier in the year and had an excellent meal. Perhaps there'd been a change of chef.
