Staff were friendly and helpful. Good tv. Cheap accommodation.

Rooms were old and dated. And quite small. Area itself is rough and not nice.

The noise from the extractor fan (as I presume it was) kept me awake all night. On telling the staff on handing in my key she seemed oblivious, as if no-one else had ever complained, which I find unbelievable. Room 105

Very good value. Room was a double when I was expecting a single. Comfy and well equipped for what I needed it for.

Signage giving directions to my room was not good. I ended up wandering around a lot.

The hotel was a bit dated although they are going through refurbishment they should of started at the reception FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I thought the staff we met in the reception and in the restaurant were helpful and friendly. It was only about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Derby which was good.

It was cold. None of the radiators worked in any of the bathrooms! (What is that all about?) The radiator in the bedroom was on for a while then went off altogether. When I got into bed the springs were showing and they dug into me. I don't know how old the mattress was. Very uncomfortable. I didn't like the steep slope down to the car park, or the rise, horrible. They could make it nice, I guess that is why we got a cut down deal, because it was only for one night, I guess it was bearable.

The receptionist was very warm and very welcoming. As for the food, I would definitely give it a 10..And for the class of service in the restaurant, it was just great. Everyone was extremely nice and very polite. We highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing that we didn't like in the room is that the lighting by the dressing table was a bit too dull. Wish that is was much brighter. Other than that, everything was just fine.

The view and convenient location. One bed was comfortable but not the other one.

No internet access through wireless. Was given a username and password but was not able to connect to it at all despite several attempts on laptop and smart phone. Not an easy network to access. Room gets too warm easily overnight and during the day/night, due to heat from below.

The ensuite was nice.

Well booked a double and got a family room. The car park is just shocking state of more or less verticle plus not secure. The cheap fee of £32 I still think was very over priced b&b .

Nice size room with good TV and a bath and a shower, friendly staff and everywhere looked clean

Pillows, they were flat and gave no support what so ever, very poor sleep because of this

Having to pay extra for fruit tea when a request was made at booking. Could have removed the coffee and replaced with fruit tea. The fact that none of the staff would assist me in getting out of the car-park. Took me 3/4 hour. The carpark was not gritted despite severe weather warnings.

I liked the location of the hotel you could walk to the shopping center in around 10 mins. There was adequate parking at rear of hotel. The hotel had a bar and restuarant if you didn't want to venture out. The rooms got cleaned everyday with towels changed if required

The staff were so understanding to my needs,thus i needed to check in early due to working night shift and was allowed to Thankyou , 211 feels like my room .,Lol

Decor a bit old but was assured the hotel is undergoing refurb.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spotless, and recently refurbished. The bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and warm.

There was literally nothing I could fault with this hotel. Will definitely stay here again soon.

Warm, friendly, helpful staff, especially Joyce on Reception. The spacious room which has been refurbished to a high specification was fantastic and exceptional value for money.

Didn't like the walk in shower room, it was too small.
