Being adjacent to the Holiday Inn and being able to use their facilities

very convenient to visit a number of places in shropshire staff were excellent even provided soya milk for me as i cannot have dairy.

The staff were very fiendly and helpful. The room and bathroom was spacious and the furniture and linen etc. were very good. Good range of breakfast items and I liked having the TV in the breakfast area.

It's not so much that I didn't like it but I had to make three observations to the hotel staff. 1) It is not clear from the web site/paperwork that you have to use the same entrance/car park as that for the Holiday Inn. I wasted time - in the dark- trying to find an entrance for the International Hotel. 2) There was a small leak from the under the washbasin so when I ran the tap my legs were sprayed with a fine mist. 3) The air conditioning temperature gauge/thermostat on the wall did not work. The system just pumped out hot air so I had to turn off the system completely. All this said, the staff were very receptive to my comments and it would not affect me staying there again.

Friendly service, good parking, clean room, nice hotel and excellent value for money.

The bed could be a bit more comfy - like the premier inn beds :-)

It was the poorest breakfast I've ever experienced in a hotel. No fresh fruit, only tinned in bowls. The only hot item was bacon. Not very good if you're vegetarian. No sausage, egg or beans????

Clean, well presented, central location, friendly staff.

There was no heat in my room due to the thermostat was broken. I was offered another room. The desk clerk offer me another room. I had kept the same room since it was very late @ 1100 P.M. Next day spoke with the Operating manager (Abs Linton) about the broken thermostat . He mention it would be fixed and was sorry for my inconvenience. I asked to be compensate for another time in the near future. Abs Linton said he would response to me with an email. I received the email only to be disappointed. His answer was he had reviewed this issue and set up a contingency plan to assist team members with issues of this nature. I would had thought the proper business ethic would be to compensate me a room for the near future.

Great location (minutes from centre), friendly staff, short drive to sports complex, great facilities (next door at the Holiday Inn), clean and tidy room. Nice breakfast. Best value for money hotel.

I don't remember seeing a charge to use pool and gym next door at the Holiday Inn.

Good choice. Would recomend to others. Will stay again

little away from night life ,but understand in the future this will get better.

Good size room, clean bright and functional bathroom, comfy bed, good buffet continental breakfast.

Bar service was a bit slow but staff were very busy on check-in etc. Not a big deal at these prices.

Lovely modern hotel, bright and airy, polite helpful staff. Good location within walking distance of the town and a small drive to see nearby attractions ie Ironbridge etc. Loved the walk in shower much nicer than most hotels we have stopped in.
