Lovely breakfast. Nice clean room. Friendly welcome.
Location, facilities, parking.
We stayed for 1 night on our way up to the Highlands, wish we could have stayed longer, everything was perfect. On arrival we were met at the car by John who was very welcoming. Good choice for breakfast and you choose the time you want to eat(so dont have to be up at crack of dawn). We had a room with twin beds, very very comfortable.
A beautiful location and very helpful owner/manager - shower fixed very promptly when requested. Breakfasts served on time and to a good standard.
Good communications with owner and clear directions provided. John was very welcoming and made sure we had all we required. WiFi, tea and coffee, and advice about local restaurants provided. Room clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast in both choice and quantity.
As we were probably the last to book our room, we were at the back of the house with a poor window outlook. No en-suite but sole use of a bathroom a short distance away (not very convenient if you need the toilet in the night). However, okay for a one night stay.
Ideal geographical location. Excellent system for ordering breakfast - no uneaten sausages here!
Very welcoming. Helped with our bags, gave good advice about where to eat.Treated our two dogs as part of the family. Enjoyable stay
Genial Host, and Excellent breakfast. Very good value for money.
A bit dated, but no problem.
We often stop in Crianlarich on the way North and this is the best place we have found to stay. The host is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast very good for the price. We had a view of the garden and the hills from the bedroom window. There are a couple of places for an evening meal in walking distance. There is also a woodland walk nearby in a community woodland where we can stretch our legs after a long day in the car. Crianlarich is also on the main railway line up to Mallaig and the isles and I have previously stopped off on the way North by train.
The room is a bit cramped and the bathroom could be cleaner - but I believe improvements are being made and we look forward to testing them out next time.
Setting, views and location all stunning. The room was good, service was great and the host was friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the directions were very helpful and thorough
we enjoyed our stay in this homely B&B the views were fantastic and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed a good breakfast with a lot of choice. The owner was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay there again.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Hospitality - met at the door on arrival, informed of all i needed to know - staff available if any question needed an answer - nice food well prepared - nothing seemed too much trouble.
No O2 phone signal - but I can live with that for a day (night)
The gentleman of the house was friendly and helpful. The house is in a beautiful setting and very convenient for the main routes East, South and North.
The lady of the house was abrupt when we arrived. Our room was cramped, with little floor space.
The host was very kind and helpful, rooms were very clean, great breakfast. A nice place to end a busy day
Bit of a long walk from the Railway Station. Would have preferred an en-suite
Location was very good
Rooms were very small just about fitted a double bed in.
Very friendly host and excellent breakfast
you can't get 'twin beds' closer together. more of a cupboard than a double room
The breakfast must have been one of the best I've ever had in a B&B. Superb location, free wifi, beautiful location and a very warm welcome. I highly recommend it.
Location and view from the room was amazing, lovely quiet place, definitely recommend!
Warm welcome, lovely views, good breakfast.
the single bed in the room was uncomfortable.
Great cosy cottage for our overnight stop, excellent hospitality and the most amazing black pudding!
My family had reserved the self-contained cottage. We hit the local grocery store before checking in (closes by 6pm!) so it made it easy to prepare dinner and the next mornings breakfast. The owner of the B&B directed us to a great waterfall to check out about 15 minutes away...beautiful drive. Very easy place for a family. Could easily spend 2-3 nights here and have plenty to check out across the landscape within 20 miles in any direction.
WiFi didn't work in the cottage.
Host very friendly and helpful, plenty of room, beautiful views.
Brown tap water, but bootle water was supplied.
Warm welcome, help with luggage, and good recommendation for dinner out. Best breakfast of our 5 week trip
Quiet in the shadow of the mountains. Thanks John
