Invergarry Guest House    

This was an ideal place to stay for us. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Fantastic homemade cakes and biscuits and great breakfasts. Hassle-free parking right outside the guest house and only a short walk to restaurants and the wharf to catch a cruise on Lake Windermere. The scenery in the Lake District was breathtaking.

This was a great place to stay for our trip to the lake district. The owners Steve & Vicky were very helful & hospitable. I would definatly return to stay here again.

Small but comfortable room, with delicious homemade breakfast and cakes.

We had a wonderful stay. Invergarry was the perfect base to explore the lakes district, and Steve and Vicky were wonderful hosts. We were pleasantly surprised to have a generous slice of home made toffee cake on arrival and the home made jams and spreads with the huge cooked full cumbrian breakfast were all delicious. The whole place was impeccably clean to, and the room was a great size with lovely views over the surrounding neighborhood. We hope to stay again soon!

A fabulous guesthouse! We highly recommend this lovely place to everyone. Steve and Vicky are very hospitable owners and personaly very nice people. One can feel they put their hert into this their work. They helped us a lot long before our travel by answering our questions (best choice of the Lakes tour, walking paths, arrival to WIndermere etc.). Steve kindly picked us up at the rail station upon arrival and transferred when departing. One can clearly see that they do their best for their guest so that they feel like at home. The guesthouse has very favourable location. Both Windermere town centre and the lake are within short walking distance. Interior is very lovely. We had a very cosy and clean room. In the room, helpful tourist information was available about walking paths around Windermere and the Lake District. We had a delicious full English breakfast, what was particularly interesting for us as foreigners willing to learn more about England. Next to breakfast, we had very delicious homemade cakes everyday (each day new) that were kindly baked by Vicky and even a lovely Easter present. Besides, it is possible to purchase a very tasty homemade orange jelly at very low price (what we gladly did) and beatiful phografs of the Lake District views that are taken by Steve. I think I can summarise our stay at Invergarry guest house with the words that are written in the hall: "Come as strangers and leave as friends". It was a very pleasant stay, indeed! We would be glad to come back again, and I highly recomment Invergarry guesthouse to everyone!

Steve & Vicky were the hosts with the mosts nothing was tt much for them. Rooms so comfortable facilities great. Views excellent and breakfasts superb. Will be back as well as recommending this B&B to family and friends.

Very nice, helpful and friendly hosts. The B&B is cosy and good for couples. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Good, tasty breakfast. Very well positioned not far from Windermere and walkable to Bowness. Lovely homemade cakes left in your room every day. Highly recommended.

Excellent B and B, owners friendly and informative of the local area. Lovely breakfast and in between windermere and bowness so not too far to each.

Steve and Victoria, the owners, are super friendly and helpful. Victoria even lent me her coat on a rainy day! The rooms are cosy and the daily plate of homemade cake always went down a treat :) The location is great for either Windermere or Bowness with easy access to lots of walks nearby too.

We both really enjoyed our stay with Steve and Victoria. They were really good hosts and the guest house is a lovely place to stay in an excellent location Thanks for having us!

I stayed in the garden room which is new decorated and have a view towards the garden...lovely and private and so very comfort..the home made cake is definitely delicious. All in all it was lovely, would definitely return again.

The owners were lovely and friendly, nothing was a bother and they made you feel at home and relaxed. We stayed in the garden suite which was lovely and private and so very comfortable. There were lovely little finishing touches such as home made cake left out for you when you returned from a day out. All in all it was lovely, would definitely return again.

The couple who run the Guest House, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was also superb, home baking and home made jams and spreads. Fab! Room was great, lots of lovely personal touches and a comfy bed with lots of pillows. Would go back in a heartbeat!!

Staff friendly and location good for Windermere. Room was comfortable and the environment was quiet.

Breakfast too greasy, but excellent home made ham marmalade.

I am impressed with their effort to make everything eco-friendly. The owners are nice and thoughtful. I feel relaxed throughout the stay. And the homemade ginger cake was nice!

This is one of the nicest B & Bs we have stayed in. Steve and Vicky are lovely, the room was spacious and well appointed, and the breakfast was beautifully cooked, with the freshest ingredients. The location is perfect, a quiet street, about half between Windermere and Bowness (10 - 15 minutes walk to each). On street parking and free wifi as well!
