Nice rooms Gorgeous views Decent breakfast Sauna ok
I know that it is a posh hotel, which is one of the reasons that we loved it, but the prices of the drinks were ridiculous (even when compared to other "posh" places.
Location. The stag roaring outside the window.
Elephants in the room above. Hopeless WiFi in the room and not much better in main reception area. Food was good to look at, but everything was over-cooked. Dinner was an expensive disappointment. The waitress rushed us through our choices. The bedroom door squeaked. The bathroom smelt of stale tobacco. We could hear our neighbours talking.
Superb location with our room overlooking the small harbour and beyond as this hotel is on a small hill. Excellent staff and outstanding Roux Restaurant
Problems with i pad and TV reception which really didn't matter to us.
The most wonderful peaceful & relaxing stay. You could not fail to want to stay longer, & come back for more!
The staff were very welcoming. Our room was perfect except the door was difficult to close. Room#19 Yummy dinner meal with dessert & coffee in front of the fire place Amazing breakfast Staff were helpful about things to do and see in the area
Door difficult to close on room #19
The fact that Inver Lodge has a very modern feel from the outside but has a very formal and traditional, almost riual, atmosphere once you are inside, at first, gave us an uncomfortable feeling of inconsistency. However this was very quickly dispelled by the very high standard of comfort of both guest and communal rooms and the extremely high standard of the well trained staff and their genuine customer awareness. The service at dinner was immaculate as was the meal itself which was real haute cuisine.(don't miss the cheese souffle!) Breakfast was excellent on all accounts.
The room price was on the high side but was justified by the service and quality of comfort.
The location is secluded and very quiet. Superb views from the bedrooms. Very well appointed throughout the whole Hotel. Excellent choice of good food. Very helpful and friendly staff. On arrival I was met on the car park and my luggage carried to my room. Wonderful for that special stay albeit rather expensive. Loch Inver is a wonderful remote scenic location.
Stay only soured by my bill having not one, but numerous items added that I did not have. Management refunded these, but I almost did not notice them. Certainly not what you would expect at this level of Hotel
Quality and class of the Lodge. Lovely fireplace that was always burning. The restaurant was under the direction of a famous French chef, therefore it was first class. Also receiving my breakfast in my room as part of my nightly charge.
Horrible noise coming from a water replacement in the attic , over my room , number 12. The staff was accommodating, however there was nothing they could do. No grab bars in shower, tub had high walls. Also would have been nice to have hook in bathroom for the lovely terry cloth robe they provided.
Very nice hotel, staff all excellent, food very special but not sure all is local produce. Superb views of the harbour.
It is an expensive place but does deliver a lot for your money.
Regular visitor so I like virtually everything particularly the service which is as good as I have experienced anywhere in the world
The staff were outstanding in their friendly attention to detail and in their aim of making you comfortable. The quality of the food was excellent.
The wine prices were over the top and there was not enough choice of a range of wine prices. Bar prices were also excessive in fact London level.
Everything,including BEN the dog
View - best ever view from a dining room big, comfortable rooms excellent service good food Ground floor rooms good for less mobile guests
Location, dinner at lodge restaurant, bedding - fantastic ! Outstanding! Stuff very friendly and helpful Wonderful place to stay
the car park welcome.followed by quiet excellent service.
friendly staff; location on top of hill allowing fantastic views; nice rooms
The spectacular location in the North West Highlands, the service and the food. All the staff without exception attended to your every requirement.
The difficulty in travelling to the location and the cost of the holiday reflected a 5 star hotel facility.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble The room was very comfortable everthing was catered for
The staffs very attentive and professional manner. The breathtaking location. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The coal fire was a lovely welcomimg touch
I thought the price was slightly above what it should be. I would have expected leisure facilities
After driving from Edinburgh in heavy rain with a touch of sleet, being held up by a landslide (side-swipe from Hurricane Bertha), I felt I deserved a treat -- and I got one! A beautiful warm bedroom. From everywhere on this hillside there are breathtaking views out to the islands. The staff were super! They have exactly the right mix of professionalism and friendliness. The food was delicious. Need I go on? One of the best hotels I've stayed in in my (long) life, and the location is my ides of Heaven.
I didn't like having to leave this dream location.
The feeling of calm and ambiance of luxury.
having to leave.
The staff were do polite and attentive. Lovely place.
Pillows too soft and room too hot - could be doing with aircon or a fan.
The view from the hotel, the high-class treatment by the staff, the cosy and comfortable room, the excellent food...
Wonderful hotel. Understated luxury. Friendly and very professional staff. Unmatched location overlooking the town and loch one way and the mighty mountain Suilivan to the rear. Very close to one of the best beaches in the UK, Achmelvich. Cant wait to return.
There's nothing very much to dislike . The hotel furnishings etc are really first class and the views from dining room and bedrooms are stunning. Did not have dinner but the breakfast was excellent
The price for a solo traveller is really over the top . I am not sure if they have single rooms but have to assume they haven't . That being the case they allocate you a double/twin room and you pay full price for it. I have never agreed with this policy
