The food and service were excellent, likewise the accommodation. The view from the bedrooms are stunning, particularly at sunset.

Staff and service was excellent - and importantly for a hotel of this quality / price range, not stuffy or pompous. Quality of accommodation also excellent. Restaurant and food also excellent. Therefore although it isn't cheap, I think it represents excellent value for money. We will definitely stay there again.

Could do with something more within the hotel on the leisure front, like a sauna? or massage after a long day walking , fishing, shooting?

It is a lovely hotel.

The welcome. The staff were very attentive and seemed to know all the guests. Once checked in we never had to give a member of staff our room number. The food in Chez Roux was outstanding.

After confirming with booking.com for a much better price then was offered directly from the hotel, we found the hotel to be fantastic. Service is literally as good as we've found it at some of the worlds most highly recommended 5 stars. The highlight for us was the in room dining; reasonably priced and fantastic food. That said, missing a Michelin rated restaurant in Roux makes for a hard choice...

We really did enjoy nearly everything about the hotel. The public areas are amazing. The bathrooms fantastic. The beds perfect. If there was one thing, it would be that room furnishings needs updating. Still, well kept and it good order.

Well trained and personable staff. Exellent food and good wine list, though you will have to have a fairly deep pocket. For fishing, shooting and walking the facilities are exceptional.

Wish I could have had a longer stay!

Everything from the staff to the food was wonderful. My husband does not eat diary or red meat and the chef was very accommodating to his dietary restrictions. Maria at the front desk was great in making suggestions for things to do during the day.

The Inver Lodge is a beautiful hotel, and very comfortable to stay in. Dinner and breakfast were really good, and the restaurant has a fantastic view. It's an easy enough place to find, and worked out really well for my exploration of the far north. I would gladly stay here again.

The bar tab was a little hefty...had a few glasses of Chardonnay and was disappointed to see they were £9.50 each! But it's a small price to pay for staying in such a nice hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us keel really welcome.

The location is stunning, although a very steep ascent to the hotel. The staff are friendly and most efficient - two emerged to help with our luggage as soon as we'd parked. The food and wine are simply first class as you would expect with the 'chez Roux' association. We have travelled widely and stayed at some first class hotels - Inver Lodge is right up there with them.without being at all pretentious. Service in the dining room is exemplary.

It's far too distant from the south of England for a weekend treat!

Room over heated and dinner service by staff "too hovering" as the hotel itself exudes a relaxed atmosphere so should the restaurant.

Excellent hotel, with a very friendly staff, and excellent restaurant. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

First , no wifi ..can find it Second ,The room is terrible .. Never would come again ..

A fantastic spot with first rate facilities and a outstanding restaurant. The hospitality and service where absolutely fantastic and with the views and surrounding scenery it is worth the journey.
