Inver Lodge  

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön auf einem Hügel mit einer herrlichen Aussicht über die Bay. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden schon am Auto empfangen und die Taschen hereingetragen. Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Hotel mit schönen Zimmern mit Aussicht. Auf den Betten schläft man sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und sehr frisch.

This is a first class hotel run by caring and very friendly staff, especially the hotel manager. Usually hotel managers/owners are conspicuous by their absence, however, not this one he is very attentive.

Beautiful if somewhat isolated location - wonderful staff, extremely comfortable room and oh boy, the food. To enjoy this location one really needs reasonable and preferably sunny weather. We woke to find three deer quietly feeding right outside our bedroom window. The excitement of a power cut at dinner was handled efficiently and caused no more than a momentry hic-cup. Although it's perhaps a bit off the beaten track we will go back one day.

Log fire and feeling thoroughly spoilt but never hassled.

Everything! Attention to detail: helpful courteous staff, the view from rooms, just luxurious.

Despite the major name linked with the restaurant and the Michelin star, the dinner was just not that good. We have had better for less! Breakfast on the other hand was marvellous.

Poor breakfast - cannot make Porridge like it should be in Scotland

Very simple. Free wifi but did not extend outside of the bedroom area although that may just have been at our time.

Extremely comfortable rooms with wonderful views from both bedroom and dining room.

Food was not as exceptional as we had hoped for, and we had better value for money elsewhere on our Scottish tour. We would only recomment the hotel for those with money to burn and have answered yes below on this basis.

So many little things that meant a lot : the wonderful friendly international staff / the knock on the door before bedtime / slices of lemon etc. offered with your water / the tartan staff uniforms / the food - yum ! / the pre-dinner extras offered / the roaring fire in the sitting room / the little covered butter dish / being met in the car park / always warmed plates / chairs pushed in / warm milk for coffee / oh ! just everything ! I want to come back to Inver Lodge ! I wrote a list of things I loved about Inver Lodge in my diary just so I can never forget them ! a big thank you for an unforgettable holiday !

Extremely attentive staff. Wonderful location. Good food. Have stayed many times. never disappointed
