The staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was great and the facilities were first class

Nice convenient room and good location, pleasant staff. Chose hotel because of raves of good food on Trip advisor and couldn't get the two nights we wanted at the Albannach.Did not realise we had booked through Booking.com and objected to confirmation using 3 pages!

Disappointing food & very expensive..Breakfast of 1 small rasher of Bacon, small fried egg, skinny sausage and half tomato on lovely 12inch wedgewood plate was laughable! Fruits on buffet table only tinned and same selection both days. Poor value for the money. Bathroom not user friendly.. Price for dinner hard to find and was £50 for 6 course, £40 for 3 courses and £35 for 2 courses. Would have thought this should have been in room brochure. Wouldn't have minded the price if food was fabulous but it wasn't.Best was the sorbet! We ate the folowing night at the Caberfeidh Restaurant in the village, food was excellent and only £14.50 for 3 courses!

The room was sumptuous, and the view was grand. Red deer and grouse roamed the hotel grounds, which are high on a hill with marvelous views of the bay, islands, and mountains. Breakfast was superb. We live in New York, but we would love to return the next time we visit the Highlands.

Very high level of service and very good facilities for a short break in Lochinver. Quite luxurious and therefore a nice treat for couples.

The price. A little expensive for what we got based on our stay at other hotels.

We were pampered in a hotel with old fashioned silver service, meals and elsewhere. Clearly aims for affluent salmon fishers but we did not feel out of place. Best bit was finding a stag grazing outside our bedroom window at 10 pm.

Very comfortable. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. Superb food. Glorious view from dining room.

Sehr angenehm waren Ruhe und Erholung, sehr gutes Restaurant, freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, ein großes Zimmer, in dem man sich gut aufhalten konnte. Meerblick.

Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Spezialwünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt, auch zu ungewöhnlichen Zeiten. Wunderschöne Lage - fantastischer Ausblick aus allen Hotelzimmern, auch sehr schöner Standard für Einzelzimmer.

beschränkte Menuauswahl für Abendessen - Miniportionen. Bei Verpflegung ausserhalb von Hotel, Rückfrage von Personal wo Verpflegung erfolgt.

L'environnement

Ein absolutes Plus bekommt der Service!! Solch eine Gastfreundlichkeit habe ich kaum woanders so erleben dürfen. Das Restaurant ist auch für Feinschmecker eine reine Freude. Liebend gern sind wir hier wieder Gäste.
