The location is stunning, although a very steep ascent to the hotel. The staff are friendly and most efficient - two emerged to help with our luggage as soon as we'd parked. The food and wine are simply first class as you would expect with the 'chez Roux' association. We have travelled widely and stayed at some first class hotels - Inver Lodge is right up there with them.without being at all pretentious. Service in the dining room is exemplary.

It's far too distant from the south of England for a weekend treat!

Room over heated and dinner service by staff "too hovering" as the hotel itself exudes a relaxed atmosphere so should the restaurant.

First , no wifi ..can find it Second ,The room is terrible .. Never would come again ..

Being spoilt, excellent service, very very nice dinner and breakfast,Room was first class and the original booking was changed as soon as the receiptionist realisied that I couldn't climb the stairs to a ground floor one without even being asked.No complaints what so ever. As an extra bonus 3 deer, a doe and two kids came up to the windows in the dinning room while we were having dinner. As Australians this was delightful.

Beautiful if somewhat isolated location - wonderful staff, extremely comfortable room and oh boy, the food. To enjoy this location one really needs reasonable and preferably sunny weather. We woke to find three deer quietly feeding right outside our bedroom window. The excitement of a power cut at dinner was handled efficiently and caused no more than a momentry hic-cup. Although it's perhaps a bit off the beaten track we will go back one day.

Everything! Attention to detail: helpful courteous staff, the view from rooms, just luxurious.

Despite the major name linked with the restaurant and the Michelin star, the dinner was just not that good. We have had better for less! Breakfast on the other hand was marvellous.

Very simple. Free wifi but did not extend outside of the bedroom area although that may just have been at our time.

In room tea and coffee making facility was badly laid out. It was difficult to find a power point. Not convenient at all.

Ambiente e gentilezza

Me ha gustado todo. El personal, las instalaciones, la habitacion, el baño, el desayuno. Es un hotel magnifico con un servicio estupendo.
