Location close to centre of town Very limited car parking Room and bathroom very small The room was at the back of the property and the bathroom faced the side alley used for access to other premises - with some overnight deliveries and compactor garbage truck coming early morning to empty rubbish skips - all very noisy. Breakfast very basic with warmed tinned tomatoes swerved with the bacon and egg - yuck

Wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff! Fantastic location, right in the middle of all the action - short walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Very nice room and a lovely breakfast. All-round delightful experience! It was a bit of a shame there was no wifi in the room but there was wifi downstairs.

We booked the Invernook as we were going to see an elderly aunt who had had a fall and was in a nursing home in Newquay, temporarily. The location of the B&B was about 5 mins drive away. I asked if we could book in early, we arrived about 12 noon and were made very welcome. The host and hostess were friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. Breakfast was excellent, being a vegetarian generally my choice of food is limited, (not all B&B supply veggie sausages etc) not so at this B&B. Nice vegetarian sausages - not the cheapy sort. My partner was impressed with the fact he got real mushrooms - not the tinned sort that is generally served up. We had a bet on whether he would get tinned or fresh. I WON. The room was exceedingly clean, comfortable and warm. Being so close to Truro meant I had the chance to see other relatives within the area. The B&B had a sitting room for use by residents, which we did not use as because of the time we got back. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay. The management couple were very friendly, kind and helpfull!! The entire place, room and toilets, shower etc were kept spotlessly clean. Full english breakfast was great and served with a smile. What else can you ask?...... Brilliant 100% What is there not to like? Not a single thing!

The hotel was excellent value for money and in a great location. The owners, Keith and Ros, are really friendly and welcoming, we felt at home immediately and nothing was any trouble for them. They made our visit to Newquay extremely enjoyable! I would absolutely recommend staying here.

I stayed at Invernook with my husband and 9 year old son to attend a family wedding in the area. It really is a "home from home". The owner's, Roz and Keith were so welcoming and lovely (as were the fellow guests!) Our room was a good size for the 3 of us and very clean. Breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble for Roz. The day after the wedding we spent a lovely morning down on the beach, which was just a few minutes walk away. Would love to go back there in the summer. Thoroughly recommended!

Keith and Roz were very friendly, helpful and kind. Nothing was out of their way and they were only too happy to ensure a comfortable and hassle- free stay. Both have a great sense of humour and we would gladly stay again! Great location also with many places to eat nearby. Close to bus and train stations - lovely area to base yourselves and tour nearby villages and ports.

This hotel is eally located for shops, restaurants, bars , buses, trains and beach. The hosts were very hospitable and the breakfast was fantastic and kept us going until tea time. We stayed in the family room although we only booked a double and there was plenty of space. The ideal location for a beach holiday. The bathroom was a little small for a family room and the sink was actually in the bedroom, this wasnt really a problem for us but would not be very private for a family with older children.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Very clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent. Car parking is available, I suggest people book this in advance for a small fee as is limited. Nice touch was when I went out they put cones down to make sure no one parked in my space! Free Wifi is available here and the connection from my room was very fast. I cannot fault this hotel, particularly for the price - best value I've ever experienced and I will definitely return here if I go to Newquay again!
