The friendly staff and like minded guests made the stay a wonderful experience. Thanks guys - loved it.
- amazing views on the way to the Bunkhouse and also at the Loch Lomond, which is accessible within 15 min walk - excellent, friendly staff - great value for money - excellent kitchen for self-catering with a lovely living room
Food was good. Location was great for West Highland Way. Staff really friendly and helpful.
I realise the Commonwealth Games had just finished, but £60 for a basic room without breakfast [or towels!] was not good value. Thanks to the great staff for throwing in the breakfast though.
Bar and service
short beds, hearing washing machines at night
The staff where lovely
It's up a 15 mile cul-de-sac.
The hosts were lovely, accommodating and helpful. It's great that they do pick ups and drop offs to the bottom of the hill…. it's quite a distance to walk after a long day. 3 bed rooms didn't seem to crowded, although they are rather small.
At the same price as a good hostel (£20), it would have been nice to have some self-catering facilities. There is only one toilet/shower for females, so you'll likely have to wait. Beds are a bit squeaky but they do provide ear plugs in the room, if you need them to sleep!
As I said was amazing we will definately be back to take a hike and enjoy the beautiful views. The staff were so helpful and down to earth and a good laugh
Great pick up service from end of hiking trail. Good food, nice people. Decent room for a tired hiker.
Clean, great food and friendly staff, beautiful views.
Room very, very warm at night as really too small for number of people in it. Charges for hot tub and breakfast a bit steep. Noisy - they offer earplugs everywhere and there is a good reason but they don't drown out the fact there is no sound insulation in the place. Mattress had springs poking through. Not enough toilets and showers.
very remote area, good if you're looking to stay away from crowds and noise
very arrogant staff, only 1 female bathroom, another is mixed, you have to wait ages. Staff practically force you to eat there, food takes ages to be served as only one waitress and one chef. no towels provided. Very noisy (kitchen is above the rooms and from 6am it is impossible to sleep. There's a lack of interaction with people. bad atmosphere. very disappointed
Everything! Staff more than welcoming and helpful, landscpaes breathtakingly beautiful...
The fact that the bedrooms can't be locked. No signal at all in the area. Midges, get prepared!
Very remote and friendly environment
no locks on doors
Helpful and friendly staff
Location is quite on the hill top however they provide transport from the ferry drop off site to the bunk place. Staffs are very helpful and cheerful. I left my bag on the bunk place when I leave but the staff called me and had the driver sent my bag down to me at the pier.
Midge when hiking but what's the highland in Scotland without one?
The staff, the bistro, the shape of the building.
There was no air in the dorm. The room was small stuffed with people and had no ventilation whatsoever. Wasn't easy to sleep there.
Excellent budget accommodation
More than just a bunk house, every thing about this place was just right. I loved it.
The staff was just Fantastic !!! The was very kind and helpfull. The Hot-Tub on the outside was a wonderfull moment in our trip and the fodd was excellent. Feel free to stop there during your walk !
The 3 bed dormitory was too small for me :'( But every thing else was perfect !
Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent food, too, at a very reasonable price. I liked the location - a great place to take a break on the West Highland Way.
atmosphere was great location beautifull breathtaking great
only toilet not enough but still great place
Staff were very friendly, anything you needed they would try and help, food good in bristro/lounge served with a smile and a bit of banter, very relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money. Lovely setting, warm and welcoming.
Rooms a bit small, maybe more shower rooms for ladies, had to wait quite awhile.
perfect in every way, the brighest point is of course the host! thanks Nick and Luna!
Staff were helpful and friendly.
When the bar was closed, there was only one toilet available for women. as this was also a shower, this meant at times, we had to queue. There was not really anywhere to sit down casually.
Good beer, food and hot showers.
