All the staff were most friendly and anxious that they should do everything possible to make your stay a happy one. There was no indication on the internet that there was no lift, or that the available rooms were on the third floor. This could be important - but maybe I just missed the information. |

The staff were friendly, the food was good and the rooms had all that you needed. The manager was helpful when we wanted to find somewhere to eat. I was disappointed at the size of the room, we were on the top floor, 38 stairs, no lift and no porter. The room was small and the price charged was not reflective of that. |

the hotel was clean and very good location to explore sea front area as well as being quite close to shops, in particular i enjoyed the barbican area or waterfront with all the restaurants and bars the only thing i would say is our room was on the top floor so was up four flights of stairs so only for the able bodied |

The staff were very friendly. A lovely breakfast was served each morning. I loved the selection of biscuits that were supplied daily with the tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel is situated in a perfect location overlooking The Hoe and about five minutes walk from The Barbican. The lack of a lift could possibility be a concern for anyone with mobility problems. |

The helpfulness of the staff and were very friendly. The location was very good to all facilities. The room smelt musty and had to go and buy a scented candle to try and hide the smell which I think came from the shower.Only one bedside cabinet and light. |

The staff is very kind and helpful, Nothing particularly. I couldn't use the free internet in my room as my room was 3rd floor, but I could use it in the lobby area and a staircase, so it was okay. |
