Everything Breakfast. Was perfect Staff so welcoming
Good breakfast Good location Parking! Comfortable pillows
Only soap and hair conditioner in the bathroom Very squeaky bed and soft mattress
Everyone there is very friendly, the room was clean and the bed especially comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious, there is an option of a full English, fish and eggs, or just continental.
The coffee was instant. Ah well, plenty of cafes in the area that serve the real deal.
Location, freindliness, closeness of car parking which even though outside on the street was safe and free ! - regretably it was raining hard so to be able to get into the hotel inside 30 seconds was welcome !
I had to leave quite early for 7.30 Bodmin appointment so missed what was reported to be the best cooked breakfast in Plymouth !
Well cooked and tasty breakfast with a wide range of options, good staff.
Room was just about adequate, but the sink had no plug and the shower was a mere trickle and that's being generous!
Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to make us welcome. Great location on the Hoe for the seafront and the Barbican.
Leaving, we will return!
Staff friendly Lovely breakfast particularly the bread and bacon
Odd light not working Some finishing in updated bathroom below standard Cheap loo seat sliding off pan!
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the position of the hotel is ideal for both business and pleasure
The journey up to the third floor! ... but we had been told about the number of stairs. When we go to the room it was excellent
Location was perfect for the hoe,sea front, the barbican & night life. Staff were very freindly & made the stay very homely. best weekend we have had in plymouth.
Friendly staff, great location very near the Hoe and the pic of breakfast is what you get which is excellent. Central location and view from top floor room.
No off street parking available so £2 a day street parking and cost of stolen car antenna £39.03. Description says car park no need to book. It's always full as there is room only for 7 cars. Characterless room with furniture you walk in to when entering and leaving.
Location could not be better: close to town, adjoining the Hoe and a pleasant walk from the Barbican. Staff all helpful, relaxed and efficient. Unusually wide choice at breakfast with quick service and quality ingredients. Nice, friendly atmosphere, quiet and peaceful.
Steep steps to 3rd floor room! Limited space in car park, but street parking easy and safe.
The staff was excellent.
The wifi wasn't great in the room. Was excellent in the lobby.
The beds were incredibly comfortable.
The shower was only a mixer shower. I would have expected a power shower.
The breakfast was absolutely first class as were the staff particularly the young man from Manchester who was both behind the reception counter and serving breakfast the next morning - a man of all trades and an asset to the hotel
The bed was not particularly comfortable - a definite roll in the middle! Also the curtains needed to be a little wider to block out the light from the Invicta Hotel sign
Location, friendly and helpful staff
The staff were warm and friendly, and the hotel itself full of character and charm. We were here for one night and felt well looked after, enjoyed a good breakfast and helpful staff made the whole stay a pleasure.
The friendliness of the staff. Very helpful. Excellent location right on the Plymouth Hoe. Cooked breakfast to order was top quality.
Curtains were a bit thin. Need to be better lined. The room was very light at night time.
Excellent service, great breakfast and friendly/helpful staff
Room a bit small but otherwise good
Beautiful and clean Lovely cooked breakfast Clean linens Immaculate
Tiny grump, didn't provide porridge No lift (beware of this)
Location - convenient for Hoe and Barbican . Staff were attentive Great Breakfast. Character Hotel.
Insufficient car parking -had to park on road overnight. Room was very warm, fan supplied which helped, but no a/c.
the best breakfast we've had in any hotel
no lift - lots of stairs. small room - no ac
Room was a little small, however everything required was therem
From the first moment we felt very welcomed and at home immediately. The proprietors were very friendly, the staff friendly as well and very helpful, the service individual. So we dicovered a very nice hotel where we will stay again soon.
Very warm welcome. Staff always ready to please.
