The staff at Iona go that extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. So handy having the bar next door and it is located very close to everything we wanted to visit. It is a very friendly place to stay. Breakfast is first class. Brian and Linda.
The Emerald Isle, the people were very polite and friendly, as are the staff at Iona. Londonderry is a clean and tidy city with lots of hanging baskets and tubs full of flowers. Also the city has a well documented history
The Iona, a lack of shower gel and shampoo provided, no hot water at the basin tap, I think there was a problem with the oil fired boiler and was rectified the next day.
Location was good for what we needed Rooms clean
Parking was not easy, but found a cheap overnight location.
Pleanty of room in our room Clean inside
Breakfast wasnt that nice Cleaners hoovering outside our room at 7.30am on sunday
Wifi. Heating,no lift.
Friendly helpful staff
Very friendly welcome Very comfy and spacious room Lovely breakfast
Water pressure in shower not very good and some traffic noise, but neither a concern enough to ruin our stay
the location the wifi the staff
the cleanliness breakfast was very limited and too much of the food was cooked in a deep fat fryer
The location was quite good. The owner of the b&b is really friendly. The price is good.
The furniture and the room in general were a bit old and it was not very clean in the bathroom.
Iona Inn is very close to the citycenter - about 10 minuts walk.
In the room there were many things that needed to be repaired - Iona Inn would be a much nicer place if these things were fixed.
Had a good shower
Didn't like having to go to seedy bar for check in; didn't like shabbiness; beds very uncomfortable; road traffic was extremely noisy all night; breakfast was lousy.
Friendly staff Location
Family room overlooked beer garden - noisy with windows open and too hot with windows closed. Dirty towel provided Cleanliness in en suite very basic Triple room lacking in space for 3 people Limited choices for breakfast
Location not too far from centre
No hot water shocking shower did'nt work properly Bathroom badly needing refurbished
Friendly staff and great breakfasts. Room was spacious.
Street noise but for us this was entertaining. Shower was not good but it did have a bath.
Value for money I guess, as there was not better option in the area. We couldn't book in advance, so there was limited availability.
The room was not as clean enough as you can expect. The smell of fatty breakfast was everywhere. It was Saturday night, so it was a bit noisy. That said, it was more less what we knew it could happen, as we read on reviews. Reception a bit unattended.
No convenient parking Overlooks main road resulting in very poor night's sleep due to traffic noise
Location and price, essential but comfortable
The staff where very polite and made you feel welcome. Also the travelling distance was very close to shopping etc. :) Will definitely be back!!
There was nothing I didnt like at all!
The staff were inobtrusive, polite and informative.
A bit of noise from the attached public house, this didn't last long and was to be expected.
The staff were very helpful and friendly
location,value for money
Staff friendly and helpful
No bedside lamps No one informed us of a place to park almost immediately across the street, we received a parking ticket which I'm sure we could have avoided had we had the relevant information
Closeness to Walls of old city. Hearty Irish breakfast.
Bit noisy. Had to get room key by finding staff in neighbouring bar to let us in.
Breakfast was ok as was serving staff.
Location - long way from centre of town Room - HARD LUMPY beds, toilet didn't work properly, room hot - small window no ventilation Shower - trickled - too hot too cold Noise- small beer garden below window - smokey, noisy Many very steep and dark stairs CHECKED OUT AFTER ONLY ONE NIGHT BUT GOT CHARGED TWO.
