Not a lot!
Breakfast was awful
Overall, the hotel was modern. Within a reasonable walking distance from the town.
The bathroom was awkwardly positioned. The bath was too small, which I honestly could not fit in. Very small length and width ways. It was difficult for my boyfriend, as he is 6ft. Also, it was extremely hot in the bedroom, even though the radiator was off and the window only opened a little due to there being some fault not being able to stay open.
Location - on the sea front and central for the town. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Price paid was probably pitched right for the facilities of the hotel. Breakfast was served quick and was hot.
Basement bedroom was clean but small and cold. Bed was small with a tiny duvet but clean. Breakfast restaurant was like a canteen.
modern and clean bedroom and bathroom.pleasant staff.
parking a nightmare, breakfast small and seemed to have been pre cooked and warmed up before serving. also tiny bar.radiator not working
Location was nice and central to pier and shops
Had to have the quilt changed as it was in pieces and full of bumps also had to fix the bottom sheet ourself food was shocking entertainment was staff singing won't be going back there
The breakfast was spot on and the staff were very friendly. The double room was excellent and met all my requirements.
Was a bit concerned as the reviews were varied, sometimes not good at all with regard to the annexe rooms which is what we booked. However no problems really, rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Did have a problem with locking the doors but sorted it in the end. Wasn't keen on having a double bed next to the wall but swapped rooms with my son. Would have been an issue if we had only booked one room and landed up with that. Breakfast was fine, swiftly served. Coffee wasn't as nice as the sachets in the room. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, more than I've had in other hotels. Pleasantly surprised with everything considering the price. Would definitely stay again in the annexe if looking for a budget hotel.
Unfortunately we stayed on Friday when they had karaoke in the bar. Had tried to find a pub in the town for a drink with no success so landed up in the bar. Why do people think they can sing when they clearly can't?
very clean room, lift not long wait
room a bit too small no real chair to sit on only dinner table type and only one for 2 people room203 i paid extra for an up market sea view room yes it was s/v but far to small ensuit shower/toilet clean but very small. b/fast servise far to quick hot part up before 2 spoon fulls of cornflaks had been eaten so it was cold when you started it
view from bay window but had to pay extra for this
no hand towels or bath mat no chilled wine or ice or lemon for g&t
Defo stay again
I couldn't fault any part of the stay and will definitely be returning
The so called superior bed was in fact 2 singles pushed together. The room was small and the bathroom dirty. Certainly was not good value for money and we feel 'ripped off'.
The helpfulness of the staff they couldn't do enough for you. next time i would get a room on the first floor but would definately return to the hotel
The room was very clean but cold and the toilet didn;t have any room between the shower and the toilet.
Rooms at front of Hotel very big. Great location from bars 5min walk. Very clean. I have stayed 4 times now and will stay again....
Very pleasant and helpful young staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Thanks everyone. It was our second visit.
Room was small but very clean nice beds so good sleep food was very good staff very polite and helpful
Poor fitting widow. weather was very windy and window rattled badly
Wow, real value for money, excellent friendly customer service, breakfast was perfect, freshly cooked to order and the hotel was right on the sea front, exceptionally clean, the room was clean fresh and modern, will certainly visit again, and this time for more than one night. Highly recommended. Well done to the staff and owners, proof that you don't need to pay a fortune for a good nights sleep and a top quality service.
On the promenade and able to get Sea view rooms last minute. The breakfast was good and nicely cooked.
Sea view rooms on top floor which had small windows. No evening entertainment but could go to neighbouring hotels for this. There were no hand towels supplied and were told that they don't give these out but when asked at reception with some reluctance gave us some!!
excellent room with a sea view good hotel friendly staff
no late bar no wifi in room also they had changed the menu
Everything about the Iris met more than our expectations, a lovely staff a convenient position, great food and a welcoming atmosphere. My wife and I where more than impressed,we would always go back.
nothing at all
noisy all night no parking as described
Position was excellent.
Parking is never easy in Llandudno but at least its free between 5pm until 10am.
The furnishings, fixtures and fittings in the room and the bathroom appeared to be new. They were stylish and modern.
We booked four double rooms for single occupancy but were refused a price reduction for having only one breakfast per room.
Everything, lovely staff, clean and comfortable room
Nothing not to like
the annex room was very comfortable as was the bed, the shower was lovely and hot and the breakfast was great and with a wide choice, the perfect way to start the day.
the plumbing was a little noisy, and there were people coming and going to the entry, and the waste bins which were right outside the window, not a nice view!!
