Friendly owner, good position for town and eating
Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choices. Really friendly staff
For our stay there was a problem that meant that the wi fi wasn,t working. So no internet access
It did exactly as was needed - single en suite room with wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and sweets provided. The small bathroom was well supplied with complementary toiletries. Breakfast was a hearty affair with a good choice of cereals, pastries, fruit and cooked items. The owner seemed friendly. Overall, it's an inexpensive place to stay, a short walk from town - it's not the ritz, but was great for the price.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the house. The room was on the small side but that didn't bother me as I was only there for an overnight business trip. The room had an ensuite shower and toilet. There was an extensive choice at breakfast and the portions were generous.
The staff is great. The room was big and clean. The location is central. The breakfast was delicious.
Very good breakfast, not far from town center.
All in house is outworn, but somehow functioning. We experienced problems with doors lock, had to ring a bell for assistance to get in (at midnight). For one night sleep is somehow ok.
My hostess went the extra mile to accommodate me.
They were friendly and attentive. Close to the city.
Breakfast was delicious: Yeo yogurts, real fresh fruit - strawberries and blueberries, and a fruit bowl including peaches. Bacon very tasty and creamy scrambled egg. Also served with charm.
The room was described as a small single room, but it was so small I had to climb over my case to reach the shower room. Which was fine with nice toiletries. Hot evening and bathroom window locked shut, only top of bedroom window could be opened. One teabag for the nice mug. But mostly I did not like that when I could not work out how to lock my room, no staff were on site, and the tel no on the booking form went straight to fax. After about 15 mins I worked it out and could leave to go out for a meal
Everything was great
A good place to stay for a night or two. Ok walking distance from old town
Not so high standard of the room. Very lively choice of colours. Could have been closer to city center
The proprietor was welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was top notch. Fresh fruit, breakfast cooked to order. Very well done.
Breakfast, plenty of variety
Comfortable room, nice en-suite facilities, great breakfast
Bedroom curtains too thin, allowing light in very early in the morning
Location Staff Big bathroom and room Cleaness Very appropiate decoration
The heating was turned off early and the bathroom was very cold when we're going to take a shower in the morning.
The host was very helpful in directing us to the bus station and somewhere to eat when we arrived late. The breakfast was delicious. Parking on the street was easy.
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was first class.
The hosts were very friendly
The room is clean and lovely Location is pretty good. The host is kind and helpful.
Good breakfast, comfortable room
Only street parking, slightly away from CBD, on a one way street.
Room cramped. Unnecessary clutter - plastic flowers. Bathroom furniture in need of upgrade. Shower cubicle poor. Not near rail station as requested.
Excellent shower Good breakfasts
No on site parking
Friendly staff, quiet nights sleep
Room smelt of smoke, bathroom could have been cleaner
