The hotel location is second to none, the staff friendly and efficient. In all ,my stay was most enjoyable and I would not hesitate to return at a future date.

I think the hotel would benefit from an evening dining room.

The quiet peacful atmosphere,large spacious rooms

Distance to carpark. having to go out side in rain to get to the Beeches. No umbrella provided.Hot chocolate sachets & biscuits in room would have been very welcome

It was convenient for what we required. The breakfasts were good

The room was poor, very hot, no access to fresh air. The staff had no idea what to do when the fire alarm went off,( good job it was a false alarm).

Central location with car parking on site. Good self service buffet breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

Bathroom in need of some TLC and bed not very comfortable, it was two singles put together.

Room was warm and comfortable, although walls very thin and squeaky floor boards.

Restaurant was freazing cold and was like sitting in a deserted church. Breakfast was also cold and not always much available. Waitress didn't seem to have a clue what was going on !

Know the hotel well, from previous visits. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Shower was poor.

Old building with history. Brilliant position on the High Street of a pretty market town with some excellent shops and places to eat. Very convenient. Friendly staff. Clean and comfy room and bathroom. Characterful if all a bit out-dated in an 80s way!

The first room I was put in, in newer wing, looking onto carpark and on ground floor and insecure if windows opened. Noisy fellow guests talking loudly in the foyer/bar, on the stairs and landings, shouting goodnights at 3am .. and no night staff seemed to be around to keep things quieter. Rather soul-less dining room but made up for by lovely staff.

The hotel was quiet even though in the centre of the town, a little tired in the decor but clean and comfortable bed. A lovely breakfast. Very good value hotel.

Lovely building ,welcoming,off street parking,bedding and sheets were crisp and clean, bath, toilet etc were spotless,room fair size although bathroom a bit tight.staff very helpful. Good choice of breakfast.

Room was very hot, we had to sleep with the windows open and a fan going....room was 'tired' and could do with decorating..the room we stayed in was not as nice as the pictures you displayed, but, having said that for the price we paid we would return and would recommend.

The hotel is situated in the high street of the pretty town of Marlborough which has some interesting shops and is surrounded by the lovely Wiltshire countryside.

Not really. Our room was one of the less expensive and beginning to look as if it needed some TLC but it was clean ,tidy and comfortable

Rooms are tired and need a face lift and not too clean (tiles in the tub with dirt in the grout). However I liked the ambiance and do the minimum (door locks etc) and give it a good clean up while maintaining the atmosphere.
