Small friendly guest house. Paul, the owner, was very friendly and I would imagine nothing would be too much trouble for him. The rooms were clean and there was a good choice for breakfast, which was cooked to order and very good. On arrival there was free tea/coffee and soup, which is a nice extra for weary travellers. On the whole it is very good value and I would definitely stay there again if in the area. There is nothing to dislike.

The Co operation of Paul the owner. Because of changes to the original fixture ie. Man utd. v Fulham I had to re adjust the booking on a couple of occasions. This he did without complaint and I would have no hesitation in staying there again. I would also have no problem in recommending the Ivy Mount to others.

Paul, the owner is very friendly and informative about the local area amenities. The Ivy Mount Guest House is nicely located as a comfortable and well appointed base for travelling into Manchester city centre or to the Trafford Centre. The Eccles area is well served by bus, train or tram links for getting around and Paul provides good information and leaflets about accessing these services.

Very friendly owner, really helpful and accommodating. Rooms nice, comfortable and good value. Breakfast could be better, quality of sausages seemed very cheap. However, all cooked to order and quick service so this is only a minor point.

Very friendly proprietor and a good budget hotel that included an excellent breakfast at a very competitive price. Overall, it is very clean and of a much higher standard than many similarly priced alternatives. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget but please consider the minor inconveniences noted in this review, if these do not bother you, then you will not be dissapointed. Bear in mind the low cost but... The non-onsuite shower and toilet are extremely small and I can only guess were plumbed by a gynaecologist in his spare time. I have to say that I was somewhat concerned that the house appears to have dropped on its foundations towards the front and the room was rather like being at sea with a definite pitch towards the front window. I assume however, that the house has been checked for structural stability.

Owners very welcoming and helpful with lots of information on travel, eating and shopping in and around Manchester. Very minor point given the overall enjoyment of the stay but the ensuite shower room was very compact.

Paul the owner was fantastic could not do enough for you. He does an awsome breakfast, and even drove us to a place we wanted to go for dinner could not ask more from him. The only thing was the shower was extremley small if your a large person you would struggle to have a shower.
