Good location for our requirements. Easy access from m4. Good for town (Swindon) and country. Marlborough only 8 miles. No local information in room or foyer. |

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Food was excellent. Felt at home here. |

The staff that tried to be kind They had a wedding and the party was in the building just 15 meters from our room. This is not smart and they shout have talled us! We needed the sleep for we were going to fairford early in the morning. The hot water was done half way filling the bath. The windows were very small to open. Breakfast was 8.30 till 10.00 Which I founf very late but they made us a breakfast bag that was helpful.I Could see they did there very best but paying 100 pounds for a bed night sleep and a breakfast bag no bath and a very warm room with only small windos to open is for me no value for money. |

Quite convenient in location The quality of the food in the restaurant was not up to the standard they set themselves. Far too expensive for this level of cooking. |

It's a comfortable hotel in semi-rural surroundings so you sit comfortably outside and smoke. It has a nice restaurant with a changing list of "specials". It's within 25 mins of Swindon by public transport but check the timetables as timings vary. I will return to it as business requires. |

Great location, close to where we wanted to visit and ample parking was available on site. The room was too hot, no air con and only small windows to open. When windows were open there was still little ventilation and the noise from the disco kept us awake. We were told that we should have been informed in advance about the weddings but we were not, this impacted on the restaurant availibility and I gave up trying to get served at the bar. We did receive an appology for this. |

Hotel staff, service and food were excellent. Room perhaps a little tired, bowl in ensuite in need of replacement - but this aside a very enjoyable stay and highly recommended. Would not hesitate to return. |

The staff were attentive and the breakfast was excellent. The hot water was not working the morning we were due to check out and so this made us late. The staff were apologetic though. |

everything was good, food was fantastic, service was excellent, more of a family run feal about the hotel the only problems were possitive points, the picture doesn't do it justice, and the "on the high street" would sound better as layed backin its own grounds away from the main road.but not one negative point about the hotel |

Friendly, welcoming, well trained staff. High standard of food in the restaurant especially breakfast which was brilliant! Very convenient location - just off a main road and near M4 and Swindon - but not noisy. The room we stayed in needed some refurbishment to bring it up to standard but at the price we paid (£57 B & B for two people) we felt it was excellent value. The thermostatic shower in the bathroom was dangerous as it unexpectedly spurted scalding water! We raised this as a safety issue with staff. |

Everything! It was the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed at and the food was mouth watering. I am recommending the hotel to as many people as possible! Nothing at all!! Wish all hotels were like the Ivy. |
