I dont like the fact that I booked this for my mums birthday and on the documentation it says the money will be debited from (my) card on arrival - however this was not the case! When my mum and dad were about to depart they were told that they had to pay for it then and there! This is very misleading

The proprietor was excellent and provided all we asked and a very hospitable host. Beds too narrow and duvets too narrow for comfort - otherwise and super breakfast and as I say, great host. Beds too narrow and I am only 5'2" and 10 stones and husband 13 stones and 5'10"otherwise great

Very pleasant couple running the guest house, clean and comfortable room, very nice breakfast, lovely location. Close to a few restaurants and pubs for evening meals. Off road parking facilities. Very good value for money. My room didn't have an en-suite bathroom but had a hand basin which meant I could wash and freshen up and every bit as good. I was next to a bathroom if I wanted a shower but I woud have liked a fresh towel for my second day as it hadn't dried very well from the first day. I'm sure that if I'd asked the owners that they would have supplied one without any problems, but it would've have been nice just to have had one supplied when the bed was made.

The breakfast was lovely. The rooms were clean and the location was just over the bridge from the centre of Blairgowrie. It was well worth the money and I would recommend and would even stay there myself again.

Only stayed 1 night at the Ivybank Guest House but had no complaints. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good and the room comfortable. Would definately stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

We were travelling north to Grantown-on-Spey, and this was a convenient location for an overnight stay, with a choice of restaurants nearby for our evening meal.
