Ivy Bush Royal Hotel  

Lovely staff, swift check in and out and amazing breakfast. Best cup of hotel coffee I've had and I've had a few!! Room was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom fluffy towels and loads of hot water. Tea, coffee and biccies on a tray, lovely!

Friendly waiters and staff in general

plugs in sinks needed to be removed and there was hair clogging the bath.

all the stay was above the usual standard and we had a great and friendly stay. the breakfast was out standing as were the staff. all the meals were really hot and edible. i could no over recommend this hotel.(we stay at a great number of hotels)

there was nothing to dislike.

Everything very good as usual - have stayed at Ivy Bush several times before and have always found the standard high. Very comfortable and relaxing.

The location, value for money

Nothing, it was sufficient for my needs.

conveniently located and easy access to other parts of west wales. Food was real value for money with large portions and tasty. Basic amenities expected of a 3* hotel were there.

Room emanate a slight smell of a backpacker bb.

Welcome. Staff were attentive and very accommodating (requested extra Fried bread at breakfast) Lovely.Room was quiet and we had a good nights rest.

The Welsh speaking staff - every area had a Welsh speaker - the Bar, Dining Roop, Reception. Excellent / Ardderchog. Breakfast absolutely beautiful with excellent service from all the staff. Reception staff also brilliant - friendly and always smiling.

The whole ambiance of the place left a lot to be desired - I would suggest that the whole hotel needs a good overhaul. Corridors' carpets need cleaning and although our room (119) was clean, it needs a coat of paint and re-design.

Central hotel, very clean. Breakfast very good with lovely service from Mair.

The service was warm and friendly and the bar menu offered a very good choice and excellent quality.

Staff great, location ok and good value for money

Shower was covered with black mold. Room 122. Newly tiled bathroom well decorated and comfortable room. So the mold was a shock to be honest.

Location, parking,warm and comfortable. If they can address the negative comments, then I would be happy to stay there again.

Thin walls in booked room - able to hear all noises next door as well as noises in corridor throughout the night. Rain storm that night, with water actually dripping into the room and onto the windowsill.

Very comfortable and warm with good facilities including pleasant areas to sit. Good central location. Nice and homely which we prefer to the corporate style of hotel.

Nice atmosphere, great location

Hotel is very nice althought the decor is very dated and needs to be refreshed in the hallways and rooms. The TV's were very old and the picture wasn't clear.

Very friendly staff, went to a wedding and the day ran very smoothly xx

Rooms only had single pain windows so road noise is quite loud

Well-equipped, spacious room. Breakfast was well-cooked, delicious and most importantly - hot! Staff were very helpful and always courteous.

The same as all hotels - the price of drinks!

Welcoming, good food and nice atmosphere

Key cards for the rooms. Only one key card allocated to our group of 3 people (grandparents and granddaughter). Key card had to be reprogrammed at one point.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, good location.

Only hiccup was our newspaper didn't materialise - but they were very apologetic and it was not a major hassle as the hotel is located right off the main street.
