Excellent, caring, experienced hosts. Efficiently operated. Very clean. Wonderful breakfast. They care about providing quality service.

A wonderful view for breakfast, but facility is four miles out of town and away from local pubs.

Although booked into the Ivydean we were put into the St,Andrews Hotel across the road. Owned by the same people. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and cosy . The breakfast was excellent . I had only booked the one night but I would definitely revisit.

A very warm welcome, comfortable clean room which, despite being on a busy road, was surprisingly quiet because the guests rooms drop back behind the house. No problems recommending this B&B.

There was nothing we didn't like but we are generally more used to being out in the countryside and found it strange being close to the city centre. Some people might find it odd to have to go across the road for breakfast but it didn't bother us at all and the breakfast was excellent.
