The house was beautiful, cosy and very welcoming. The room was just the right size and had everything you needed. The bathroom was luxurious! Guests have their own little lounge which had a wood burning stove and lots of books and magazines to ponder, as well as local guides and maps. Breakfast was delicious, including home made apple juice, bread and jams. Rosemary was extremely polite and welcoming. Its a very quiet little village, so we slept amazingly well! Would recommend this B&B!
The quiet location.
Attention to detail. Breakfast was above five star. Homemade apple juice and homemade bread were delicious.
Noisy heating pipes in bedroom. Disturbed sleep.
Tea and cake on welcome. Light well-furnished room. Home produce for breakfast. And our hosts!
Faultless hospitality, spacious, tastefully decorated room which had its own sitting room and ensuite, B&B set in 2 acres of rural garden paradise.
Quality of rooms, very nice visitor sitting room with honesty bar. Fabulous breakfast with excellent quality ingredients. Being able to enjoy the extensive gardens and play outdoor table tennis was an unexpected bonus.
The location. The owners. The facilities. The decor. The Ivydene produce (honey and apple juice). Total attention to detail. Fabulous bed. Wonderful welcome. Gorgeous garden. Coco!
The friendly welcome with tea and cake in the beautifully laid out garden, the decor throughout is stunning. The breakfast served with home grown produce and eggs from their own hens.Super king size and super comfortable beds. The attention to detail is shown throughout adding to a comfortable and relaxing stay. A gem- we will be returning soon.
There is nothing to dislike it is just perfect- top of the list of all the b&b's we have stayed at in England.
Unique decorative style and warm welcome. Luxurious bedroom and bathroom, all our needs catered for. Excellent breakfast with home-produced croissants and jam selection plus full English and freshly percolated coffee. Neighbouring pub has reasonablyriced, tasty food. We cannot recommend this house too highly!
Hosts, comfort, breakfast, facilities, furnishings, decoration, everything. Spare bedding, fresh flowers, teacosies, comfortable bed, extra pillows, apple juice, homemade granola, welcome, everything.
Complete darkness at night!
This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Hosts have gone above and beyond. Decor is creative, artistic, comfortable. Room was wonderful, spacious, had all we needed and more. Neatly folded, cozy robes, fresh cut sweet peas in bed and sitting rooms. Breakfast cooked to order was perfection. Home baked bread, homemade granola. Table setting was so inviting. Grounds were breathtaking. Care and attention to detail was impressive. We arrived late and Rosemary brought hot tea and banana bread to the sitting room so we could unwind. It will be a highlight to our trip.
That I had to leave so soon.
Lovely big room Beautiful garden Great breakfast Friendly hosts Quiet village location
Lovely home excellent in all respects.
Everything about our stay was quality, style and comfort from the bed, bed linen, guest lounge and breakfast. Absolutely marvellous! Having tea and cakes in the beautiful garden was a bonus on top of everything else. Lovely and engaging host.
There was nothing to dislike!
Very welcoming and a feeling of home from home while being waited on .
Excellent in every respect
Everything even the walk to the excellent local pub which we highly recommend. Everything you want in good quality b&b.
Beautiful house in gorgeous village, excellent fully home made breakfast, garden with pond
Could do with street name, number to programme satnav - but we found it anyway.
Iveydene House is one of those finds that don't happen very often. We stayed for two nights and from the welcome with a pot of tea and home made cake in the magnificent gardens, Rosemary and Peter made us welcome and we felt comfortable, relaxed and looked after. I have stayed in many hotels and a few B&B's and this one is by far the best. Our room and ensuite were along the style of photoshoots you might see in House Beautiful (only Rosemary has a unique taste and eye for creating relaxing interior combinations with colour, texture and bright ideas). The breakfast was homemade bread, jam and cereal along with a full English breakfast (with eggs from the chickens in the garden). If you want a relaxing break, or to visit the many tourist attractions around the area of Tewkesbury you will find them here. Thank you Rosemary and Peter.
Nothing, can't wait to go back.
Beautifully designed rooms, delicious breakfast and welcoming hosts.
First class facilities and amenities indoors and out, a scenic, tranquil setting
This is a exquisite B&B run flawlessly by lovely hosts. Fabulous grounds to walk around and a great pub within walking distance. We would recommend this to any couple looking for an escape.
