The rooms were lovely and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big. Only thing that would have been nice was an offer of something on toast for breakfast other then a fry up or cereal. They might do this as I didn’t like to ask. |

Mick and Wendy were very friendly and welcoming and were happy to help with local knowledge. The breakfasts were excellent with only local produce used. The level of furnishings and cleanliness could not be faulted. A couple of very minor points were that on going upstairs for the first time the carpet was threadbare in places which gave a wrong impression of the accommodation as a whole. They radiator cover stopped a lot of the heat getting into the room but that was easily removed. The bathroom was cold with only single glazing. And more tea in the rooms would have been welcomed. |

Only 10 mins walk from either Windermere or Bowness. Beautiful room (Skiddaw), spotlessly clean and lovely breakfast. |

The proprietors were extremely helpful and very friendly. They offered to store our cycles and advised on where best to dine out and visit. The breakfasts were very nice and cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. |

Peace and quite. Clean room good food No dislikes just 2 minnor points. 1) No where to hang wet coats in rooms 2) Hallway light shines through door on a night would be better using lights that dim or go out unless there movement in the hall way |
