Royal Berkshire Hotel  

We only stayed overnight enroute to another destination, but found the hotel excellent - very relaxing, helpful and knowledgable. The grounds were beuatiful.

Having to ask at breakfast for things like Jam to go with the toast for breakfast and tea served by the cup...

We thought the room and facilites were very good. We also loved the leasure room and wished we had found it earler in our stay.

Beautiful surroundings and the most relaxing and romantic gardens around the hotel. You can spend hours just enjoying the walk. Nice room with pretty view. Lovely hotel

The room wasnt generous with its tea coffee sugar facility as i would have expected of a hotel of its calibre.

I booked a superior room which was suppose to have 2 windows with a garden view and I got a view of the bins and a view of a wall and a view of the car park and if this was a superior room I can only wonder what a basic room would be

The staff here are very helpful, professional and friendly. Rooms comfortable and the grounds superb.

There was a function on that meant we had o queue for breakfast.

Love the location and the feel of the hotel, the decor in the public areas is lovely, and a great improvement. I have stayed many times, and I really love the ambiance.

The menu is very small and expensive although the food is good I would probably dine out when I stay again, no background music can make it feel very stark in the restaurant.

I liked the informal, helpful and friendly nature of the staff. Please tahnks your reception team in particular. My room was good and breakfast very good. Please don't put up the prices so I can afford to come again! Grounds were lovely - even in wet February.

I guess you know, but the pool area and changing rooms need a refurb.

The beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel. The style of the building, an old manor house, the fireplaces in the lounge, the refined but comfortable and friendly feel of the hotel.

The lack of a lift and any offer of help to carry heavy suitcases to the second floor. Breakfast is a bit minimal in terms of choice and staff so busy it is hard to get a second cup of coffee.

Stopped for one night after going racing at ascot which is a couple of miles away. The hotel is stunning,a lovely building set in its own grounds and inside and out it all seemed very well maintained. The room was very large with a good sized bed and a sizeable bathroom,the bar is lovely,we ate in it and the food was good but bar prices are high but then it is a hotel in ascot! For the presume discounted price we paid for the room it is absolutely amazing value and it even included breakfast which it sidnt say on the booking which was of a very high quality. Would definitely stay here again next time im going to ascot.
