“We had an excellent stay at this hotel...... it's a lovely quiet hotel with friendly staff and really suits those who value a good nights sleep over noisy entertainment. The spa facilities are lovely.”

Convenient to Goodwood Golf Course, within walking distance of selection of shops and Harvester and a short drive from coast and several cities. Staff friendly and very helpful. Changing facilities for pool/gym area very sad. Would have liked to have had a beauty treatment but spa was closed.

Ask for the toilet in my room to be fixed (didn't Flush) couldn't find someone to take alook, but not for 30mins, had to go out, couldn't change rooms. Never mentioned again, not even on leaving. Will not be staying there again, (stay in Chichester at least once a month). Wasn't looking for a discount or monies back, but some acknowledgement of the situation to show staff cared would not gone amiss at the very least.

The Hotel is well placed for driving to Chichester and has plenty of parking. The rooms are comfortable though can be noisy if a big party arrives late at night. The breakfasts are plentyful and good. When booking on the website this worked well but the frase "Full English Breakfast costs GBP 9.95 per person per night" gave the impression that a continental breakfast might be included in the cost of the room which, apparently, it is not the case.

Nice hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's local to supermarkets, Mc Donalds, etc. I chose this particular hotel because a gym was listed as a facility. Be aware that it's not really a gym, just a treadmill, stepper, bike, and a couple of other bits right on the side of the pool - very hot and humid. It's enough for a little cardio but definately not a gym. Staff were friendly.

Able to have single occupancy in double bed rooms on ground floor. Breakfasts buffet style excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff and near to the Festival Theatre where we visited. Also most importantly the hotel is situated on the east side of Chichester which benefits the traveller coming from the east when they don't have to negotiate all the ghastly roads around Chichester.

Unfortunately the memory foam mattress was hard and uncomfortable not allowing for a good night’s sleep, this was partnered with the fire alarm going off at 4 in the morning (there was no fire). I was then asked to pay £9.99 for my breakfast, I am aware that this is a standard charge for using the breakfast buffet but considering I only ate a ½ bowl of cereal and a slice of toast I thought the price was asking too much.

Well located for my purposes. Comfortable hotel without being pretentious. Price was attractive. Did not use the facilities at all but they looked perfectly satisfactory. I drove past the hotel twice without realising where it was. Better signposting would have helped.

The very friendly staff. Felt the hotel soft furnishings were dated/tired. Disappointed with the quality of the room especially as had upgraded to a four poster room. Major building work going on and no notice of this when booking or notices/apologies around the hotel. Building work began at 0752hrs when the roof was being removed just outside our room.

A nice quite hotel, convenient location. Warm rooms. Food good. Starting to look a bit tired, sheets on bed should be bigger, still don't know why hotels need to charge for wifi internet!

Nice rooms, Warm, Great breakfast Good shower, and all very clean, and quiet Have the receptionist that welcomes you , deal with your prebooked entrance within 5 - 10 minutes, instead of answering two phone calls, arranging a taxi , speaking with the Chef, and arranging a wake call whilst continually asking me to wait , Paying for the internet as per booking site is okay 0.20 per hour, they forget to mention the min £5.00 charge (Its not 1997)

“Me and my partner stayed here for new years eve, we wanted somewhere close to town and not too pricey. This hotel was in a perfect location, very good value for money, our room was immaculate, friendly and helpfull staff, and the premier breakfast option was fantastic! You get to choose anything you want from the menu, and can help yourself to the buffet for a very good price. Ive paid ridiculous amounts of money staying at other hotels that didn't offer what this one did, and its probably the cheapest ive ever paid for a hotel!! Welldone premier inn! Will be staying with you again in the future.” Claire, West Sussex |
